A.Scriabin - Fantasie in B Minor, Op. 28 Piano Kotaro fukuma Alexander Scriabin's Fantasie in B minor, Op. 28, was written in 1900. Scriabin wrote this piece during an otherwise compositionally unproductive period during his tenure at the Moscow Conservatory. he piece's existence may have...

Lovely interpretation of this masterpiece.
I played this variations. Enjoyed playing.
Ask Derek Paravicini to play this.
It's a good sonata, but it doesn't sound like the type of sonata that I would keep listening to.
I can't believe I still can't get into CPE Bach's works! And I thought his solo keyboard works were dreadful.
Why does everyone keep using the concertgebouw recording? It's so bad, the timpani is completely out of sync with the rest of the orchestra.
Thank you for making a video that can be listened to with the sheet music. I would like to play this piece, but I can’t find this score. Could you tell me where I can get it? Please.

Banal.
Very gracious sonata with moments of real inspiration, such as the choral melody in the first movement, the weird chromatic progression in the second and the hint of a fugue in the third. Not a bad performance but a bit cautious in dynamics i.m.o. Thank you for sharing.
I didn't know the oboe could do stuff like this!
If you can't cut out the applause from the audience at the end, leave it out, don't cut it into pieces. It was a good performance.
very nice and cleanly executed but does the pianist not read the dynamic markings? this piece is full of beethovenian contrasts and subito fortes and pianos. I think this music could be performed much, much more passionately and characteristically. all fs and ffs here are at max played mezzoforte. also I don't think the accompaniment gets nearly enough attention. very little phrasing and micro dynamics. a bit of a shame since its really a nice sonata in my opinion! having listened to the whole thing I only have this to add: why play and even record this piece if you have nothing to say? if you don't care about it at all, don't make any interesting artistic choices, nothing artistic at all actually and just play the notes, why bother? this recording is aggressively uninteresting.
This is freaking awesome! What a performance and interpretation. I marvel at this. There is NO Damned Excuse why this is in the concert halls , radio stations and in the standard repertoire. This and the Myaskowsky 2nd PC. The World is missing out on some very great, important music!!! 😢
One of the better Hummel Sonatas, 2:00 is very beautiful! Love the following theme at 2:35
Play @ 1.25
There is no such thing as bad Medtner's piece, even his first piece are so superb, delicate and based, like this one!

A really good performance of a very fine symphony. One or two points: i) This symphony is known universally as Opus 18 No 4 (the Warburton numbers are rarely used, and certainly not in place of the well-known Opus numbers). ii) Regarding the description note: JC was hugely important to Mozart who loved both the man and his music, something he openly acknowledged; including Haydn in the comment as well however is simply wrong - during his Eszterhaza years, not a single work by JC was ever performed there by Haydn and the ‘influence’ was precisely zero.
I agree. I would also add that he had little to do with the development of the sonata principle: by the time he arrived in London the sonata principle was already the bread and butter for many leading instrumental composers. He may have contributed to its establishing in London, but developing? No.
This is a harpsichord concerto. It has to be performed on a harpsichord and not on a modern grand piano!
❤
Thanks a lot for the beautiful music! Pure enjoyment!!!
What expressiveness!!! Immensely enjoyable!!
Only a handful of Beethoven’s sonatas achieve this level of innovation! Wow…this is spectacular writing!
Hummel was the only pianist Beethoven couldn't outplay.
14:50 Beethoven might have copied it 😨

At a minimum, you should put the performer’s name (Hae-Won Chang) at the top of the description. Title or first thing in the video would be even more respectful.
Hummel and Krommer- two tremendously gifted and imaginative contemporaries of Beethoven and Schubert but sadly so overshadowed they get almost no airtime. Thank you for posting this.
Why did he tune his violin a semitone up?
@@rubensgensane2677 yeah, that's possible
Marx is an incredibly underrated composer. I hope this, as well as his "Romantic" concerto, enter the piano repertoire someday.

One of Medtner's best songs, and it's his very first published work!
Who's the performer?! Very bad manners not to name him or her.
