Bro does not know how to eat an in’n out burger taking off the packaging that holds it together, rather than slowly pulling it down while eating it. To keep it from dripping. And the complains about the mess made after taking everything apart holding it together 😂😂😂😂 otherwise it was good though and glad he enjoyed it. Next time say you want it with grilled onions for great flavor distribution
Did not know that. Learned something new.
You obviously went into this with no understanding of the work involved in this type of restoration. The amount of hours required, materials involved, the number of times every panel is put on and off to correct fitment from aftermarket panels. Not saying it's perfect, but for what you paid him - you ripped him off
HAHAHAHA nice
next thing is to become a candidate for 2028 :)
Dear (Phreefire) I recently came across your youtube channel and was impressed by the quality of I your content. However, after conducting a comprehensive analysis, I noticed there is room for improvement for your youtube channel for getting more visitors and subscribers. . Your Thumbnail needs to be more eye-catchy, . Your Video Title & Description needs to be improved, . You need to use more relevant tags and keywords.
Looked like a whopper, huge bun with not much on it and overpriced.
nice video man
Dear (Phreefire) Hope you are doing well. I was analyzing your TH-cam channel . I'm really impressed by your videos but your TH-cam channel has some issues. You have made many videos but your TH-cam channel is not getting views and subscribers. Your thumbnail design is not attractive, you should use good thumbnails to increase your video views, because a good thumbnail increases a video views. Because you have no complete SEO any videos, Channel tags are not seo friendly, Video Tag is not seo friendly.not SEO friendly title and description. If you complete all tasks then you get more views and subscribers with monetization.
I've been eating at whataburger for 30 years and I've never gotten a burger that wasn't hot.
Honestly, I was surprised. It was not end of day. It was at the start of lunch, no special requests, no substitutions. Just accepted the burger as it was intended.
@@Phreefire_TV well the one's in Texas by where I'm at cook everything to order, I thought they all did, I've had poor quality food before just because of the way it was run at a Whataburger in Louisianan. There's one on the Mississippi Coast, it's actually the best one I've ever eaten at. It is a good burger if you customize it.
Yeah, next time get the double.
Always the double moving forward.
You gotta ask them to toast the bun on both sides, add grilled Jalapeños and grilled onions. Eat with spicy ketchup. 🍔 🍟 🥤
They didnt construct your Big Mac right, they screwed you out of a slice of cheese. Patty size is also probably "shrinkflation" because it was bigger before. Believe they are supposed to be 1/4 pound patties, so maybe the 1/4 pounder issue is the cause.
Hope that was the reason as it was disappointing.
Try the Big Kahuna burger.
Why do these early '70s Mopars rot SO much!? They really are a challenge -- I feel for ya!
Whataburger drive-throughs are notoriously slow so that may be why it wasnt hot when you got it. People say its sometimes better to get them inside than wait in the drive-thru. The Patty Melt they have is also supposedly a top order item for them.
You should try out their cheese sticks.
True
What was your favorite part about the burger?
The bun, the toppings and sauce made the overall taste of the burger very enjoyable.
Nice
The factory sassy grass green(aka green go) is a rare and desirable factory color, any high impact is. I would go with factory, but your other choices are great!
I think that is the color I am going with. Did a search on sassy green and that was the Plymouth name for the same color as Dodge (green go). I guess they had their own branding of color names between the two divisions.
My first cool car was a beat up 71 in that yellowish gold color. It wasn't fast, but it was my steed. Loved that car. I get ya
Looking forward to getting it home and adding power boosters and mods to the build. The welding and painting I do not have the skills for but the other smaller things I want to give a shot at.
Looks like a halfway decent body man, but who installs an engine into a primed, unpainted engine bay?? That's all going to have to come back out to paint the engine bay properly.
The metal work was done nicely. You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about or looking at. That’s how you do these cars on a budget somewhat. If you paid a legit shop it would have cost you $30K plus just for what he did replacing metal and putting the car in primer.
I have a similar dream of buying either a 68 GTO, 69 Mustang, 70 Cougar, or 71 Satellite and taking it from a rusty roller to a totally functional, albeit not quite show room quality runner. If I were ever able to find a decent condition one of any of those cars, I'd want to be the one doing all the work in order to avoid exactly this situation, but I can't really blame you for wanting to just pay someone else to do it. I'd rather rebuild a car with my own two hands than buy one that's already been rebuilt, or pay someone else to do the rebuild because I'd be too paranoid not knowing every little detail of the rebuild, worrying about what corners may have been cut or what may have gone wrong without me knowing. But learning how to weld, fill, sand, paint, etc. along with a lifetime's worth of auto knowledge just for what might only amount to one singular rebuild on your dream car is kind of a tall ask for someone working a normal job with little free time, so deciding to just pay a professional to do it is a completely understandable conclusion. Hopefully the rebuild will progress more smoothly going forward now that the car is in more capable hands.
Wow... you gave this guy a rusty POS and 20 grand and you are complaining? You need to send that guy a apology and a check for another 10k.... it's people like you who make the business of restoration miserable....
Aww ww.....bless your h eart.
@@CeeGee5849 You are a moron and should find a hobby that better fits you... like collecting Star Wars toys or stamps... You will wet your pants the first time you jump on that 440 and it will make you terrified... I predict that you will either sell it, you will wreck it or will become another asshole at lame car shows telling all who will listen how YOU built it with a little sign that says 'look but don't touch'... I see 50 or 60k worth of parts and quality work... and you have NO IDEA IN YOUR OWN WORDS what you are looking at...
Flat black but to be honest it'd be cool if it was painted green go again dam that's a crazy story they really tried to make you pay for work you never asked him to do hell probably tried to keep the car that's probably what they were trying to do
I think that was the situation, probably figured I would give up and he could keep the car or flip it.
Why are you taking the car to a place you have to fly to? It's not even a recognized shop just some backyard shop? I'll bet there are dozens of backyard shops around your area and you chose this asshole? I'm a 40 plus year bodyman and can tell you most of these homeshop guys are not that good. A lot aren't able to work in real shops for one reason or another be it bad work habits, drugs etc. You really want to do your homework. Trust me. Sometimes you luck out and find an older guy that's a straight shooter that does good work. They're out there but RESEARCH first. Keep it green 💚 it's a great color
100% agree and I accept the responsibility for the poor choices on allowing this guy work on the car. At the time I lived in Los Angeles and that is how I was recommended this guy. I moved out of California pretty much 3 months later when I found a place in the Dallas area.
Man, I know exactly how you feel, if you look on my TH-cam, I have a video on my 74 gremlin that after 2 1/2 years and lie after lie, the so-called body guy screwed me out of $3200. I got my car back completely rusted over from him, keeping it outside here in the south Florida elements. He too threatend to put a lien on my car, etc. So I feel your pain, I’m glad you got your car back and I would paint it back to its factory green color.
crazy how one wrong person can take all the joy and excitement out of a build.
What a journey, but the Charger is looking good. I‘d stick with the green go, it‘s such a pleasure to spot a big muscle car in an high impact color. Keep it up!
leaning towards green, it seems to be the color everyone is saying.
All the "black spray paint" you are referring too is epoxy primer, that's the normal procedure when a car has been media blasted, and the metal work that was done looked good, and as far as welding, yes you will burn through periodically when welding in patch panels,as for the gray primer, that is high build primer, body work is done over the top of the epoxy primer, then several coats of high build primer, final body work and fit looks pretty good, I hav done a few restorations in my time, mostly Mustang's, Falcon's and Comet's, and I think people need to think about the work that is done in a restoration, there are probably a hundred hours in just block sanding and priming, then 30-50 hours in panel fitment, door's,trunk, not to mention panel replacement, that full quarter panel replacement on the passenger side was probably 40 hour's, you just don't throw a quarter panel up and start welding, looks good from my screen, gonna be nice if finished properly 👍
This all makes sense. Why would anyone spray epoxy primer on chrome bummers? To be fair it was a multitude of concerns and frustrations with this guy. 3 years of holding the car, a total of 15 pictures sent of the repairs.
Dealing with body guys is a nightmare. What happened to you happens all the time, thankfully you recovered your car with all the body work finished and in good condition. A lot of people end up with a car that was just taken apart with little to no work done on it, and bills that sometimes total into the tens of thousands.
It was not a fun experience and the last minute trip to get the car was mainly because I was worried this was his thing. Taking in cars and waiting out customers until they give up or lose interest and he keeps the cars or turns around and sells them.
To bad you have to take it apart again
hopefully not all of it. We will see as we inspect the car now.
@@Phreefire_TV Nothing is painted firewall /door jams / floors / wheel wells / 🫣
cant say for sure without being in person but agreed with other commenter that the body work looks pretty good from here across the internet. May not have any worries. An original GreenGo HIP car is hot sh.t...keep it original esp since it looks like the trim tag is still there. 71-72 b-body is my fav muscle car so this will be great once it's done
Just double checked, the tag is present on the inner front fender and just decoded it again and FJ6 is Green Go.
Sucks that guy was unprofessional like that. However you now have a running decent looking Charger. Hard to put a price on yr dream car though. As far as the color, only you can truly choose your dream cars color. As long as it's True Blue lol
It's easier said than done. I think I have a color picked then I think will this color be too loud? should I go with something more reserved? then the next day I change my opinion again.
To be honest that metal work and body looks good
I hope so, currently being prepped and made ready for paint.
Harris literally has no clue. Trump will mop the floor with her. This will be interesting. 🍿

Well it can be challenged.
