Using the Tonex One as an All-in-One rehearsal tool.
Last night I tried out doing just that. Ran the Tonex One with some @tonejunkietv captures.
Most importantly, not having the big board helped me focus on figuring out creative parts rather than relying on my effects.
Here’s a short video showcasing the sounds I used and some stuff I learned along the way:
1. Use A/B mode to toggle between a Base and Lead tone.
2. Don’t try to achieve the super wet P&W sound. It just doesn’t work well with the onboard effects.
3. Use Thru mode in Tap/Tune to tap along and play.
4. Set master volume to max and use preset volume to tweak your volume according to the bands intensity. Use it at the right time to “Boost”.
5. Use guitar’s volume and your right hand dynamics to set the level of distortion/breakup.

Come Into The Light

TAYA - Come Into The Light / Touch The Sky (Live) Was checking out the multitrack for this song and saw it had more than 11 guitar tracks. So this is my attempt to experiment with making up my own parts for the build using 3 guitars. Not that any of us have 3 to work with in the first place 😅 How does Pope even do this on his own on tour?
Worship Pedalboard 2024

Put together a few sounds for those curious what kind of sounds the board can pull off. Did a one-take and sliced it up a bit. Please excuse the sloppy playing 😅 For its relatively small footprint this thing packs a whole lot of versatility. Post Edit: Aspen was on the Overdrive setting. Not crunch. My bad 😅 #tonexpedalboard #pedalboard #worshippedalboard #worshipguitar

So much chime and clarity out of the blended ones. Running a single IR into stereo delay and verbs post amp and it already sounds HUGE.

🛠️ PEDALBOARD HACK I'm really big on keeping my pedal arrangements efficient and this goes a long way in allowing you to place your HX Stomp anywhere on the board and still access the USB port. Here’s a Pedalboard Hack to make it easier to access your HX Stomp: These short angled USB Type B cables can be left connected to your HX Stomp. Keep it tucked cleanly under the board and only pull it ou...

incredible dude❤❤ I wanna build that board now 😂
Love your layout! A couple questions: 1. No volume pedal? I’ve considered taking mine off for more space but I fear I’d miss it too much. 2. What case do you use to accommodate your board with the riser? 3. What board are you using and what riser?
@@ryanpappenfuss hey there! 1. Im still trying it out! So far the autoswell in the LVX has been working good. Just need to get used to it. I honestly do miss mine though. 2. Using a brandless case i bought off a local guy. Similar to a pelican 1510 3. Rockboard Quad 4.1 with a Goodwood Lift 16
@ thanks for the info, I appreciate it!
This is actually awesome. Keep it up
Bruh my thoughts exactly when I started editing !! 😂
What amp captures are you using?
@@SpaceBaloo Im running Kenyons advanced captures of a JMI and White Lightning
Board sounds glorious! Whose ToneX captures are you using?
@@-b0j- thank you! Im running Kenyons advanced captures of a JMI and White Lightning
Very nice!
Hey man! I’d love to know how you got the ramping on the Morningstar set - that was awesome
@@blakeparadise9998 will do a tutorial soon!
Wonderful board and playing!
Good,cual captura es ?
@@ChristNg-b4n ToneJunkie’s 65 Deluxe Reverb 👍🏻
Sounds awesome! Looks really tidy!
awesome board! Sounds huge!
How do you run 2 tonex one?
@@WillyTenggara running stereo amps just for added texture :)
@ so guitar out to splitter and then split to two tonex one?
It comes out of the HX stomp split stereo.
@@heresmycleantone So guitar > hx stomp > send L - 1st tonex one (send R - 2nd tonex one) > tonex one out - return hx stomp ?
@ actually i have a stereo Y cable coming out of the send into the Meris pedals and then into Tonex before returning.
If I ever get a Mercury X I would love to try these presets out, such a cool pedal! Any chance you previously had a bigsky? If so what made you switch?
You could also use temple audio boards with their micro module plates and get a switchcraft usb module. You just plug into the module.
Nice
can you do a run down of how the two tonex ones were used and cabled? planning to buy two tonex ones as well.
can you make a pedalboard rundown? or how the two tonex ones were utilized and cabled?
No mention of what’s on the foot switch
It's called a Pedal topper
They are really cheap, I ordered from AliExpress but you can find them in a lot of stores
Wow looks great. How are you finding these tonex ones? Are they easy to use and worth doing the upgrade?
The best ones are BarefootButtons. Solid and the real deal. Don't go for the cheap ones.
Nice cover. Do you like the SE DGT for playing worship music? I play in my church and I'm thinking about getting one of those.
Hey there! Thank you! Yeah I like it! It’s honestly one of the most versatile ones I’ve tried and bang for buck at the price. It’s really good to go right out of the box. Both humbucker and split coils sound great. It’s just slightly darker than the usual favourites (i.e. Cremas and Grinders) with slightly more output.
