wow. this is very informative. I was wondering why azure did not allow console in the first place. well now I know how to deal with os disks not booting. I also did not realize you can create a vm in azure and install hyperv role. I figured all the vms running in azure would be running inside "azure hypervisor". in other words, I did not think i can run hypervisor inside a vm that was already running in a hypervisor. thanks again.
