Message from Jesus of Nazareth: Sin within My Church: -television that supports carnality sensuality foolishness atheism infernal dark symbology etc.: take care of your children! -Worldly fashion within My Church: Isaiah 3:16 Likewise says Jehovah: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with upright necks and with shameless eyes; when they walk they are dancing, and making sounds with their feet; therefore the Lord will shave off the heads of the daughters of Zion (the head is the leader), and the Lord will uncover the shame of him. On that day the Lord will remove the adornment of footwear, the nets, the lunettes, the necklaces, the earrings and the bracelets, the headdresses, the adornments of the legs, the hair dividers, the perfume pomites and the tendrils, the rings, and the jewels of the noses, the gala clothes (1Peter 3:3 Your attire is not the external one of ostentatious hairstyles, gold ornaments or luxurious dresses), the shawls, the veils, the bags, the mirrors, the fine linen, gauze and headdresses. And instead of the aromatic perfumes will come stench; and a rope instead of a belt, and a shaved head instead of the trimming of the hair; instead of gala clothing, sackcloth girdle, and burn instead of beauty. .. Conclusion: what you are carnally proud of is of the world.. (1Jn.2:15 Do not love the world, nor the things that are in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Because everything that is in the world, the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life, does not come from the Father, but from the world. And the world passes, and the desires of him; but he who does the will of God remains forever. )... Amen! Seeing the crowd, he went up the mountain; and sitting down, his disciples came to him. And opening his mouth he taught them, saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Matthew 5:1-8 .. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt vanishes, with what will it be salted? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trodden down by men. You are the light of the world; a city settled on a hill cannot be hidden. Matthew 5:13-14 .. Amen! Matthew 24: it says that the end will be after a war between nations, famines and earthquakes in different places, then persecution throughout the world; then the appearance of many false prophets, sins everywhere, and abundant cooling of love; and then finally the gospel message is preached throughout the world, and then the end will come. (He already answered the question: what are the signs before your coming?) .. Then Christ continues speaking about a detail that will happen between those signs, in the temple of Jerusalem. Then he says that all those things/signs will happen before the generation of that time, and at that time war, famines, earthquakes, persecution on all Christians, false prophets, increase of sin and cooling of love, and preaching of the Gospel for almost the whole world; there was no persecution throughout the world nor was the Gospel preached throughout the world but they are signs that they took their first step. (Today, with world globalization, it can easily lead to a worldwide persecution of Christians, AMEN!) . . (Stop looking at any carnal object! Healthy eating is in God and what comes from the Holy Spirit: detect what comes from the Holy and what comes from the world! -Everything that is pro the healthy mind and soul and heart and is pro the bible not a friend of the world nor the worldly fashion THAT IS OF ME, GOD! -Everything that supports what it is to be a friend of worldly fashion is carnal and anti GOD!!) .... 🙂 !

I'm so glad you joined us today, Albert! We played the audio recording of you singing "O Holy Night" at the candlelight service. It was beautiful but we missed seeing your smile!
Thankful for the great mercy and goodness of God Hallelujahh thank you so much for your prayers my brothers and sisters in Christ
On you tube as well. I'm familiar with the Jacobus Arminius vs John Calvin, but that can be an unnecessary powder keg. Comment I follow Jesus, not Calvin or Arminius. QUESTIONS Can you address Reformed Theology in the Church Today..from Michael this is your homerun pitch hahaha
Good to see you Michael! Thanks for the commets and question!
I didn't catch this live...but listening to TOJO Again
God bless you all may He be with you all! Happy birthday Tammy!!! 🙏💗
Congratulations!!!
Oh and I think Joe’s screen froze because he was streaming “The Chosen”
Ha! That's funny!
And I’m looking forward to the sermon on Sunday :)
I forgot about ToJo live again this week but thank you guys again .. I’m praying for everyone who requested prayers. I’d like to share some resources related to this show : Spotify has a lot of recordings of the Bible… one is called “The Daily Bible” Also a good Bible study that I’ve really enjoyed and influenced me is also available online and is related to today’s comments on the Bible being God breathed and influenced from outside our time domain. The Bible study is Chuck Missler’s study on Genesis .. it’s filled with science information and biblical information
Thanks T.J.
Looking forward to this Sunday’s sermon on 1 Californians (misspell intended ) 😎
It was good to see you back Sunday, TJ!
Thanks guys …I’m in Massachusetts so I couldn’t make it this weekend but thank you guys for posting online … I should be back on Long Island this weekend
Great! Looking forward to having you back next week TJ!
Be sure to adjust the sound accordingly - we are implementing a new sound system and attempting to tweak it during today's service.

Way to go Natalie! Best decision you'll ever make.
Woo-hooo! Proud of you Natalie!
Love you guys
Excellent conclusion to this series!
So you support Tony campolo, which he supports gay marriage and you also support garbage like the message this is truly a fulfillment of 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2 verse 3 this is truly the apostasy that comes first the great falling away from the faith
I used a Tony Campolo illustration, does that mean I support him? What makes "The Message" garbage?
Why would I not think that you support Tony campolo when you use an illustration and you don't specifically denounce the false Doctrine centered around homosexuality that he supports and teaches and as far as the message goes that's one guys interpretation Eugene Peterson of how he thinks the Bible should have been written so I'll just give you two brief examples if you go to 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse 9 and you read that in the actual word of God and then read it in this thing called the message you will see a distinct difference and also if you go to Romans chapter 1 and read it in the word of God and then read it in the message you will also see a distinct difference there if you can't see a problem with that then I don't know how other examples would even help the Bible explicitly says to not add to or take away I hope that if you are a true servant of the most high God you will at least in your response denounce that false doctrine that Tony campolo supports in relation to homosexuality and also alert people to Eugene Peterson's questionable responses to homosexuality in past interviews if you truly love the homosexuals you will denounce Tony campolo and Eugene Peterson for They Don't love the homosexuals or else they would give them the truth of God's word that they should repent and be saved but instead they would rather affirm them in their sin allow them to walk right on off into hell.
@@bbhills1734 Did Paul support Greek philosophers when he quoted them? Peterson did not translate 1 Corinthians 6:9 the same way I would, but I hardly feel that would classify The Message as garbage. If he was trying to avoid the homosexual issue then why did he translate Romans 1:26-27 the way he did?
@@tommyleelanham thank you for your response. my intention with my rebuttal is to call your attention to scripture and scripture alone. I am deeply concerned about the souls of people especially in the days that we live in now, and the direction in which the church is going so I want to encourage and challenge all those who are ministers to stand on the authority and Power of scripture. there is no power and authority in my opinion or the opinions of any man, only in the word of God. Jesus Christ rebuked Satan with the word of God. There Is power and Authority in His word, so when I see ministers of his word referring people to those who are clearly transgressing it, it causes alarm in me. do you not know that you are responsible and God is going to hold you accountable to Those whom you Minister over. he says you will be held to a higher standard of judgment so when you refer people to things that are not doctrinally sound and they follow that, they will be judged for that. but so will you, you will be held accountable for that. I would rather that you would repent and refer people to scripture. I love people and I believe you have a heart for God ,so I pray that you accept this in the spirit that it is given. in your question did Paul support Greek philosophers when he quoted them? this is not a fair comparison. Paul is on Mars Hill talking to pagans and meeting them where they were in relation to understanding that we are Gods offspring, which two of their own poet's had declared now before that he declared to them creation in scriptural truth. he never mentions The Poets by name. nowhere in scripture do you see him in a synagogue or place of worship referring to Epicurean and stoic philosophers. no when he is dealing with Believers he's using scriptural truth, so likewise when you're addressing Believers why would you use someone unscriptural? so I disagree with the comparison of your situation in addressing Believers in a place of worship, and Paul addressing pagans on Mars Hill. though I do agree with the comparison of Tony campolo and Greek philosophers😁 On the subject of Eugene Peterson and his paraphrase the message.we don't have to choose how we would translate it. we have the ability to see exactly what it means in the Greek. in relation to 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 through 11 he doesn't even mention effeminate, homosexuals, thieves, Covetous, revilers, and swindlers he just throws a blanket statement out there and refers to them as unjust people. this is called taking away from scriptures and then he adds abusing the Earth which is adding to the scriptures. we know what the Bible says about adding to and taking away from the word of God. now in regard to Romans 1:26 + 27 he puts the same-sex encounter but alludes that it is wrong because of lust and no love.so is he saying if same-sex couples love each other that makes it all right? why wasn't he more clear on this when the scripture itself is. I challenge you to do a search on Eugene Peterson and listen for yourself to what he says in interviews and that will help you understand why he adds to and takes away from that which is already written.
@@bbhills1734 I appreciate the tone of your reply. I appreciate your concern for the truth. I have an extreme value for the truth of Scripture. I will say that there are several who listen to our services, and are even in our building when the building is open, who are not believers. That may help explain why I used the Greek philosophers comparison. The Message is a paraphrase of the Scripture. I sometimes use it to better explain a passage. Similar to how I may use a commentary quote from time to time. The typical text I use when preaching is the NIV. When preparing my messages I always have the NASB open for reference. Considering I believe it to be the most accurate translation. I am aware that as a leader I have a great responsibility. That is why I spend hours choosing the words, verses, translations, quotes, and illustrations that I do. I have prayerfully discerned them to be the best choices for the message I am communicating. Both the Tony Campolo illustration and The Message reference helped fulfill that role. I am also aware of some of the comments Eugene Peterson made before he passed away. I also know he took back and apologized for the statement he made about marrying homosexuals. I am not sure why he made the first statement and then took it back. As a man who spends a whole lot of time reading a book that talks an awful lot about grace I have to give Eugene Peterson the benefit iof the doubt. Again, I appreciate your concern. I would also appreciate your prayers. I am not flawless and I am always open to correction. I just ask that the one doing the correcting is also open to correction.
Great people great church
