I found these spells to be really useful for invasions! People mess up the timing on the delayed ghostflame explosions. I would have a more even INT / FTH split if I didn't also occasionally use the Moon stuff or Crystal Sorcery on this build. Death and Magma Sorcery are kind of a "second thought" but "available when I want to use them" since 200 let's you dump stats anywhere lmao. Thank you for watching!!

Hello, there! I'm pretty committed to "fashion gaming", so my poise is only where it is because of the armor set I chose based on look / build theming. I go to 60 INT for Regal Scepter (I use the AoW but I don't like to spam it) and a quality STR / DEX spread for weapon variety. Generally, it is "advisable" to run higher poise on meta range invasions so you don't get chip staggered as easily, but with good roll discipline I don't find poise really matters until you have more than 88 or some number over 100 (ish?) (New patch may have changed things) None of my builds hit those break points, though, so I'm not 100% certain. My poise does screw me over from time to time, but my spell line up helps me manage groups and they pack a punch so it's a trade I'm fine with making. Practice makes better! Hey, hey! Wow! Thank you for sticking around through my self-taught editing journey! 💙 For the spell wheel, I use the default Up on the D-Pad. Keep in mind that holding up will take you directly back to the first. While this first spell may vary from wizard to wizard, but my philosophy goes somewhat like: "Catch runners / quick finishers > Combo Spells > Midrange Space Managers / Breakaways > Ranged / High Cost - High Impact spells that I'll only cast when I have the time OR already at my breakaway / space managing phase". Keep this in mind for smoother spell transitions, but don't be afraid to tinker around and find what works best for you. I use a lot of spells, but sometimes it's better to have a tighter list! All my videos should show the stats and spell lists in the beginning (the earliest videos may not be time stamped / included 😅). Don't give up, Skeleton!

You terms for the different spell categories ie ‚catch runners, combo spells, space managers’ suggest there is a lot of method to the madness :D I will have to watch your gameplay more closely because I am just winging it lmao. I guess for now I might just order them by range and see how it feels.

I left it open like that so it could be applied to any school of magic. Once you try things out, you'll find many overlap in functionality. I've grown to think of my spell wheel like that so there is consistency between all my different characters doing different things. Muscle memory helps be fast :) I welcome you to join my live streams on twitch!
