Vale Karl Wallinger Karl Wallinger was one of the best and greatest musicians/ composers / producers and collaborators in music history. Sadly the great man has died aged 66. He passed away peacefully at his home. My throat is tight and my eyes fill with tears. Karl's music holds a very special place in my heart and soul. RIP mate you were a genius of the music world. Always in our hearts.

I was lucky enough to be there and it was as moving as it looks.....I hope when people look back at when Jack White played Newport I can be lucky enough to say I was there...

Just saw them in San Diego about two weeks after this show. They did this same duet. It has always been one of my favorite Waterboys songs and I can't believe how different and powerful this version was live. The crowd was stunned...it was absolutely beautiful. The highlight of an incredible evening!!! Thanks Mike and Steve!! May your collaboration continue for many, many years.
