I have four of them sweet smart cats my male taught himself how to use the toilet. They all love to cuddle. My white odd eye loves to play in water if I am not careful she get in the shower with me. The hair up keep is intense but there are good vacuums and I brush them daily.

We recently determined our cat is a Siberian. The silky fur was the determinant. He's also low allergen in spite of his long hairs. Great personality. We love his soft trills instead of meowing. We had been told he was likely Maine Coon, but the older he got, the less likely that was: Siberians are beautiful, without the odd rectangular jaw Maine Coons have.

Interesting. I had adopted a stray Siamese cat that had none of those traits. Hated to be held, slept all day, was lazy didnt care to engage in any sort of game or plar other that chase you or try to make you fall the stairs. Wasnt very loving, only allowed to be pet for like 15-20 mins at 6pm exaclty like a swiss clock. He was messy always putting himself on danger, trying to eat swallow wires, poop outside of his litter, was picky with his cat food and liked certain raw foods, like meat and fish only certain parts of the fish....i ended up puttinf him for adoption

I would like to see a video on the suitability of Birman cats for people with a very quiet, calm, relaxed household, and for being intuitive and affectionate enough to offer comfort to owners who suffer from chronic illnesses, but who have the resources to be certain the cat would receive appropriate care.

My Siamese does not like being held or cuddled.
