One thing I love about this show is it gives its characters arcs and lets them keep their growth. In so many other shows, characters have a learning episode or mini arc and then immediately revert back to original character tropes, totally negating any growth.

Justice for Johnny

I think that this episode was necessary in helping us better understand why David is the way that he is, because I do think Sebastien played a major role in a lot of David's anxieties and insecurities. So it's hard to watch, but I see why they went there. I also love that we see just how protective David is, once again.

I’m disappointed - I expected Stuart to love this episode more than he did. Also, you didn’t discuss one of my favorite bits in this episode - when Alexis and David find about Moira “sleeping” with Roland.

Totally jumping the gun here as I'm barely into this episode, but you're talking about Stevie and I think part of it is that overall, S2 was very much Johnny and Moira's season.When we didn't get Johnny and Moira, we got David and Alexis, who played smaller roles as well. So Stevie got sidelined. (And as a huge Stevie fan, I agree, that's a bummer.) Without getting into spoilers, I think S3 finds a way to give multiple characters equal weight.

- There actually is a fan created timeline, which I won't link to because it's rife with spoilers, but it projects the entire series taking place about 3.5 years (which fits with some comments made in season six), with S1 taking place in a span of three months. Alexis and Ted weren't together long at all. - Stuart, I really like what you say about David! I feel he's one of those characters a lot of people misunderstand. That's all I'll say. - I didn't like the book Ted bought Alexis, either.
