มุมมอง 4163 ปีที่แล้ว
A quick video to show you the difference between the OEM backup bulb and an LED backup bulb on a 1978 Jeep Wagoneer. This is a simple remove and replace option that doesn't require any wiring or special steps. It's amazing how much more light is case with the LED bulbs and they draw less power as well. The LED bulbs we used are Biocheng 1156 LED Bulbs White, 3200 Lumens 6200K (cool white) Part ...

Pre-1972 vs 1973+ Mopar B Body Wheel Bearing and Rotor Comparison
มุมมอง 1.2K4 ปีที่แล้ว
The Mopar B-body spindle size changed between 1972 and 1973, but the newer spindles will still work on a pre-1972. This means the inner wheel bearings, seals, rotors, calipers, and brake lines are all different between the two generations. My car was a 1972 Plymouth Satellite and had been swapped to 1973 spindles. This video provides an overview of the differences to hopefully help others sort ...

Chrome Paint Shootout | Fixed It Garage

Bill challenges 5 different chrome paints, That all have very different price points to see if the most expensive is always the best. More from Eastside Hotrods Instagram: eastsidehotrods Website: eastsidehotrods.com Shop: eastsidehotrods.com/shop/ Subscribe: bit.ly/2JDeeEh
As a guy that still builds model kits, the BEST chrome pen for small details is a Molotow pen from any hobby store, eBay, and that jungle website.
They should be prosecuted for false advertising with those caps
straight forward, great video....thanks...
Glad I seen this video. Installing new rug in me 1994 f150....today.. thankyou
high tek.
Great effort. I truly appreciate the hard work.
Brilliant!
You can also you a soldering iron
I want to see wheels painted with this, and 2k clear coat.
There's literally no such thing in existence as chrome spray paint. Its nothing but silver paint 🤣
clearly, no one has really done this experiment and knows what they are talking about in the comments. The moment you spray any of these reflective paints in clear, you'll get a matte grey finish. Its fun to see that paint still hasnt changed in 30 years and still advertise with caps😂
Gonna try this!!!
The best true chrome paint is Alsa Easy Chrome. But it ain't cheap 🤑. And it is a multi-step process starting with painting with high gloss black first. But not as good as their chemical process version. Which is probably the same stuff car manufacturers use to chrome plastic parts like front grilles. PChrome is a similar chemical chrome process too.
Does anyone know of a readily available shaft to use in a drill for prelube? Or do you have to fabricate one yourself? Thanks
That's removing the oil pump gear drive shaft on a Mopar not an easy thing to do. By the way you dodged guys if you're using the stock distributors make sure you go to Napa and get the mo 3000 rotor hotter spark and you'll notice the difference. It will bring the rotor Gap with a spark will go to the side not try to find its way top side because the Gap is so excessive.
I really really hate the rustoleum spray heads . The spray heads over a few spray or about 3/4 of paint left in the can the paint will gather around the spray nossle and then starts to drip and drizzle the paint on to the work . I hate that and will destory the work . The old fan spray heads are great and work really good for what they are . Still not like spraying with a gun but for small jobs it is vary good .
One thing you are spraying these way way to close to the work . That is one big problem . The other thing you need to shake these cans for at least 5 minutes to 10 minutes for proper mix .
excellent information mate thanks
Use a soldering iron, makes perfect size hole , no flame, no nail , no hot extension or socket to hold. Perfect size, place in holder when not in use.
Go watch test that include revell spray chrome Its a game changer difference
Have a 88 f150 I’ve been thinking about spraying the grill chrome because the original chrome is chipping pretty bad. So this definitely helped
Why do they put chrome mirror blank caps on that crap? To make you buy the product? You need to file a complaint with the Federal trade commission. They have to put the cap that is exactly like the result of painted surface. Matte.
So, mirror paint it is.
This was fantastic. Thank you! SUB'd!
Need to shake for 2 minutes.not 10 seconds.😅
How would these hold up on the exterior/grille of the car?
Get a MIC!!!’
ESTAS BIEN PENDEJOO
Thanks
The spatters you are having are not the paint but the operator, if you watch closely, you are releasing pressure from the nozzle just about the spraying material. Hope this helps figuring out origin of the “fish eye” spatters 😅
get out a old soldering iron pen or wood burner. perfect holes
Try ACE Hardware's Matelic finish. ITs a lot like Rustolium Matelic finish, but with a much more mirrored finish. Just do it is one light mist first coat and one heavy second (and final) wet coat. That's just two coats total. And make sure to let it dry over a week before touching as it stays tacky for several days. But the end results is worth it... just have to be really patient. I use it on my model airplanes when i do WW2 aircraft with natural metal finishes.
Only real chrome spray is Revell chrom spray but is around 25-35 US dollars..depending where from you buy it-but that one is actually looking like chrome so I am not surprised by the cost of it coz these here look like sh... compared to Revell...I also looked for comparation of 25 other rattle can chrome sprays and only Revell delivers really chrome look.
Good tip!
Burner chrome
0/10 for all products in this test in the way it was tested. Not even a hint of a chrome look.
Great idea. And,,, Keep a fire extinguisher nearby. 😄
Thanks for the tip. Now I know which to buy.
the can should be held in the upright position when possible .. this will help to avoid bubbles;ie fisheyes

Can I ask where the carpet is from? Or if there’s a specific company you recommend that does custom carpets for a car
Don't forget to watch for wiring that could get damaged.
Would anyone know the paint code to the 1970 SS Nova interior dash /glovebox/black color code and is the windshield cowl the same color code? Just replaced the cowl and want to spray both. Thanks
Is there a way to use a drill to check the oil pressure too?
I tried this technique and it works great! Just be sure your socket fits tightly on the extension. You don't want a red hot socket slipping off the extension and landing on your new carpet. Ask me how I know!
well yeah satin has more shine than flat.. always has....
Thank you.
I like this way better because you go right over the nail 👍
that's awesome!!!
