I recently just found out about this and heard there was audio. We all know that planets have magnetic sounds that are just completely horrifying to listen to. This is the case here. The sound quality of the mics back then were not up to par in todays world. What we are listening to could quite possibly be the echo of what ever the mic was on or the drill, maybe even again, the sound of the earths magnetic field. Tho the sound is truly horrifying, theres quite a few reasons this can easily be debunked.
