DIY Floral Wine Bottles: Crafting Elegance with Fresh Blooms!

Making wine bottles with fresh flowers is easy and a fun gift to give. Purchase Crowning Glory and wrist corsage on Amazon. Wine and flowers are from Trader Joe's . A tip you can do for the stems that are weaker, is to wrap a wire around the stem and use that to give support when putting into the foam. Another thing to keep in mind, if you are traveling a distance with your finished bottles, br...

I just bought a model 26.. does yours put off plenty of heat outside?
Ours gives off a warmth in a 5' radius. My back patio is not covered and I think that would trap more heat. We have used it during the summer on cooler evenings 50 degrees or so, and it was comfortable. Since we're in Ohio (the snowbelt) we don't use our patio in the winter.
@ Thanks for the info.. sounds like it’ll be great for a shed in Alabama
how is it against corroion from weather after few years? and any problem with fire sparks since it is so open in the front?
We are in Ohio and only leave it out in the summer months. You will have some surface rust each year, but it's a pretty quick sanding and polishing job. When it's not in use, we put a modified grill cover with bungee cords around it. We just bought a large grill cover, cut it so we could wrap it around the burner.
Beautiful absolutely beautiful. The fire looks inviting
Thank you so much.
Beautiful. I did the very same thing with my franklin
Thank you. It's so great bringing these old stoves back to life.
My thoughts exactly. You guys did a great job.
i love it give me a idea
Hola buenas me gustaría saber cómo se llama la crema que le echan a la cocina
Imperial Stove Polish Paste-available at Amazon
Very good job. I am nack to ask one question: Do have the web for spare parts of Franklin model 26? Thanks.
I'm sorry, I don't. I've looked and I believe Sears used to sell these stoves. Possibly a current wood burner supply store could sell parts to use.
Your guy did a very good job, It turns out a beautiful Franklin Atlanta wood stove model 26. I am looking to buy one, still did not find yet, You have any info for that stove? When it fire, can you close all doors? Is it still working good? Thank you and have a great weekend.
Brilliant job, thank you for sharing!
Hey, we are still interested in your video and just wanted to check in do you want more information? Please contact us back so we can discuss. Thank you
Thinking about this myself, do you get much radiant heat off of it?
It gives off heat, but since it's outside. the heat goes up. if you have it in a more contained area, it would give off more heat.
Hey, this is from Jukin media. We are still interested in your video and want to partner with you. Please contact us back so we can discuss more. Thank you.
I’m wondering if know the size pipe you are using and height? And I am interested in the cap you are using..? I am planning on doing the same thing with the same stove you have. Thanks for your help
Hi Paul. We installed two-2' long pipes that are 8" diameter. The cap is a spark arrestor . Cap was purchased from a company called Wolff Brothers. Good luck with your stove!
Good call in forcing safety at .30 seconds.
Im a man and I approve .. jk .. good job . I have a fire pit already but I was thinking about using this instead bc my nabor asked if I wanted I told him No .. but now I retretit
lol, I'm glad your re-thinking it and you should take your neighbor up on it. We have a fire pit too, but this is really nice when you want to just sit out and relax on your patio.
Great idea! I have a large, old wood stove stored in my barn. I know what we'll be doing with it now. Thank you for sharing.
You're welcome. So glad you're going to do it.
Does it smoke out the front at all
I haven't had any issue with that. I think as long as you have it appropriately vented, it should be fine. we get some big fires going in it, no smoke issue.
Congratulations!!! Looks amazing 👏
Thank you!
You go girls! Wonderful project! I have a Vermont Castings cast iron wood stove that has been sitting in my family room for years unused. You inspired me to want to work on mine (rusted by cat spray in some areas) and put it out in the yard as a place to unwind. Thank you so much ladies!! (I am Canadian and your lovely accent reminds me of someone I know from Virginia) XOXO
Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you are going to restore your wood burner. I hope you have many enjoyable days relaxing by it.
@@saltfreewater Thanks so much for your reply. I have a question: did your stove start to rust again after being outdoors? I see a neighbor who is using one outside and it appears to be quite rusted (perhaps unavoidable if it stays outside?) 'Look forward to hearing from you when you are able. XOXO
@@brendapaul7560 Hi Brenda. I keep mine covered when not in use. The best way I could come up with is to use a grill cover and cut it along the backside so I could drape it over. I use bungie cords to strap around it. I did do touch up re-sanding for some rust spots in some areas at the start of 2021 season. It took about an hour to sand rusted areas. I then re-polished. It was no where like the original sanding. I think if you keep it covered it makes the difference. Mine sits completely outdoors so its open to all the elements. Hope this helps.
@@saltfreewater Yes!! Thank you SO much for filling me in. It's going to be a big project but I am SO glad that I saw your video. I was thinking of getting rid of my woodstove earlier. I am very grateful that I can actually use it again and outdoors! All the best to you. You have been SO helpful!! Thanks again........ Brenda xoxoox
@@brendapaul7560 you're welcome! I'm so glad I could help you. I'm certain you'll do a great job. Good luck !
Nice job it looks fantastic,,,,,,I am thinking of doing the same thing, how do you keep it from rusting being outside
I use a grill cover. I cut it around the back side so I can drape it around the unit. I then put a couple bungie cords in place.
How does it hold up in the rain? did you get any rust?
When we aren't using it, I put a grill cover over it. I just cut one along the backside so I could wrap it around. Then I bungee cord it. After a season, I do have a few areas to surface sand, but it wasn't bad. I plan to do another coat of stove polish as well.
Nice, was there last week but didn't have the b.Lss to go up that lift. The boarder has good style. I ride the same way, lots of turns and good form. Most boarders straight line it and then skid.
Thank you for posting this, my dad had one sitting in the backyard, I asked if I can take it to restore it, it's going in my she shed now. = )
I love hearing that! I'm sure you'll enjoy it in your she-shed....I need one of those 🙂
Looks like a great day at Powder Mountain! Nice ski day.
A so so icy day. A great day is when it's bottomless.
Which place was your favorite? Trying to decide which 2 to go to!
Park City & Brighton
Wow! This is a good idea. I have a similar stove sitting in my garage for 3 years now. Lol
Thank you. It really adds a lot to a patio. I hope you do it :)
u should hike up once u get off lift
I guess it was closed :(. They didn't have enough snow.
@@saltfreewater hiking 9990and Jupiter I 100%recomend next time you go
Interesting it outside on a Patio! Never thought of it ! Good idea! Was there any firebricks? Did you use high temp black paint or stove black polish ! There is a difference !
It's worked out well outside. I only used hi temp paint on the handles since those weren't cast iron. The rest of the stove was done using stove polish. I've done two touch ups on it since doing the polish, but it has worked well.
Where did you buy the topper for the tip of the smoke stack? Do you have a link?
The company is called Wolff Brothers Supply. www.wolffbros.com/cgi-bin/lansaweb?srve=PRDLIST+p=PRD+F(LW3CATURL)=Caps/Spark_Arresters__-TGC_Stainless-__TGV
how much did it weigh and how did you move it ?
It is heavy and I'm not sure of the exact weight. We took the back leg of the stove off so we could place it on a hand dolly level. It was strapped on the dolly and moved to the back patio. We placed the backside on a brick to elevate it and reattach the back leg. We live in the north so we just moved it back to the garage for winter. It's a two person job, one person to steady, the other to push.
What mount did u use for the gopro I am going to the same place in Daytona tomorrow with my GoPro
It was the go pro chest mount harness. Have fun, it's a great course.
