you have the exact same car and i have to get your opinion on some issues bout the car
Hyundai rhymes with Sunday.
Is there a tutorial on how to build something like this? I’m in love with the design
Not all hero wear cape Sir. Thank you so much!!!
Did you ever make part 2 to trunk storage video???
Are the plyers necessary? I didn't see them used
This is awesome. I love the lift up off the existing storage.
Random question.. What state is this filmed in? Looks beautiful
How does taking the oil crankcase cap off cause the oil to drain faster ? Something to do with air moving through it ?
Thank you for a great help here.
do you have plans for this? I would love to build this in my kia sportage!!
Hey man! I'm trying to build the exact thing I just need the details on how u did it! Can you tell me?
Hats off to you. That's a neat little system you got going there!
This was so helpful!
Good video, i recomend always taking the oil cap off BEFORE draining the oil. Ive known people who drained their oil then found out they couldnt open the hood/ undo the oil cap and they were stuck waiting for a long time.
Have you tried using Amsoil SAE 5w30 over Quaker? I debating trying it out on my Tucson.
I tried Amsoil once and didn't see any difference at all.
Excellent video!@
Yes and yes
okay, this is genius. The lift up to get to the spare tire helps me A Lot. I've been trying to figure this out, but there are sooooo many 'long' videos that never address this. Thank you for sharing this video
Thanks for the vid! I knocked my rim cap off too!
very nice
Thank you! First time changing on this vehicle and was having a heck of a time finding the plug and filter. I wish Ford put an access panel like Jeep does on the Cherokee to avoid removing the entire cover.
So glad I found your video. I have a 2012 Tucson SUV and the biggest issue was how to access my spare tire (I've never needed to, even on a 7 week trip around the country...but! This is awesome, thank you for the detailed information on how to accommodate for my needs! Plus, how to best utilize the small side spaces! I would love to see your complete build, my seats don't go all the way down either.
Good video
I was like oh ye that looks simple enough, right, now he's going to show me how it converts to a sleeping platform BUT NO! FULLY TILTING STRUCTURE. I AM IN AWE.
Hi Adrian, I see you use 5w 20 oil. Do you think 5w 30 isn't right for this engine? Here the dealer recommends 5wc20 but my user manual reads 5w 30. What's the correct oil do you think?
It should say it on the oil fill cap on top of the engine. If it doesn't I would go with what the manual says but otherwise I always trust the cap
@@briancondon7767 Thanks a lot.
Hi! Great job! Is it possible to have the dimension of the box? :) height and width
How many quarts to fill it up? 4 ? I also have a tucson with gdi 2.0
Read your owners manual.
@@jackiechan_wtf4041 pfft. read the owner's manual he says. Like people want to go crawling in their car, looking in the glove department for a wad of pieces of that paper stuff held together by those staple things to form those book things... and THEN to top it off have to flip through pages using their eyes to comb through a Table of Contents... You ask too much sir. Much easier to click a mouse and type a quick question online without moving an inch. Dude living in the past.
It's HUN-DAY. Not Hi-yun-day or Hun-die.. It rhymes with Sunday
I'll never understand why engineers feel the need to unncecessarily overcomplicate such simple things... WHY TF do you need two different tools to remove a plastic undercarriage protector?
Could they have put that oil filter in a more awkward spot? Jeesh.
great video thanks
Don't fill it to the max mark
Great video but it just pisses me off that these auto makers are making it more and more of a pain in the ass to work on your own vehicle...
You drilled your car. Madman.
This is a great setup! Looking to do something similar to my 2017 Tucson. Would you happen to have any plans or a cut list for this? I would gladly pay for them.
Do you have a video showing how to replace the gasket and oil pan?
U drilled holes all over ur car smfh
U drilled holes all over ur car smfh
on my cover, 2 bolts are longer, anyone notice which holes the longer 10mm bolts go? Doesn’t seem to matter right now…. hmmm
Thanks for the good video. I had mine done at a dealer in sandy springs, GA. After a few days I noticed the matt covering the bottom of the engine was hanging down. It was missing a couple bolts. Now I'm going to try doing it myself.
Hi do you have measurements and specs for these draws aswell as plans?
Beautiful job
Hey, nice video. I have a 2005 hyundai tucson. The windshield wiper fluid is leaking and it is the hose than runs from the reservoir to the hood that probably fell off. Pls make video showing hot to replace it from the pump going to under the hood.
Thanks for your efforts to show us something helpful, However I have below 2 notes (hoping you will accept them): -You should fill the new filter with oil before Installation. -Changing 17 ml screw washer.
Hey Kameran, appreciate the feedback and I do change the plug gasket each time so I should have mentioned that! In regards to filling the new filter I have been taught as a mechanic to not prefill any filters unless specified by the manufacturer. Lots of folks and techs do the opposite and I doubt there are many instances of large contamination getting into the system from prefilling the filters but I have been taught from the manufacturers I have worked for that its a no no. Thanks again!
whats the purpose of prefilling?i have never heard that. i have heard wiping oil on the filter gasket.
Hi, @@2feetaguywith The purpose of pre filling is to prevent engine parts from moving without oil during the milliseconds while the oil filter get filled with oil.
Pre-filling the oil filter is not needed on passenger cars. That is only done on those huge 18-wheeler commercial tractor trailers which have these massive diesel oil filters which hold over a gallon of oil.
More info please
How many oils you put ???
Cool and precise. I had rhythm while learning. Good job and thanks.
Make sure you check the oil when it’s on a level surface off of the ramps because it will run to the back of the pan and you won’t get an accurate reading until it’s on the ground.
Many people ask questions, but has anyone else done similar construction and have a movie?
Great video ! Thank you but damn clean your car homie
