NSW Trainlink - D51/D44* - Mariyung D Set [Kangy Angy](N804 - Central)
Mariyung set D51/D44* is seen between Newcastle and Interchange operating a CCN service on run number N804.
*I'm not 100% sure but from last time I heard this was coupled with D44.
The D sets have finally entered service, I actually wasn't expecting them to enter service this year, I was thinking at least January 2025.
These train are a first for Sydney trains/NSW Trainlink as they feature SIC-VVVF motors instead of the IGBT-VVVF. Though nothing remarkable in terms of sound.

มุมมอง 24414 วันที่ผ่านมา
*Video Re-uploaded as I forgot to remove the black bars. Transit Systems 8810 is seen between Burwood and Liverpool operating route M90. This is probably the first time an Element 2 has debuted on M90. I initially thought this was a Mercedes O500LE of some sort as the transport apps incorrectly listed this as a Mercedes O405NH CC550

i was going to try catching this at some point during the weekdays or weekend. so far I haven't tried it yet. but I will eventually
quite the packed bus.
there's a lot of b12s everywhere in the ex sta fleet.
one of my regions Smithfield optimus unit was involved in a accident with a motorbike 2 days ago at guildford on the news and the optimus unit number was 6870 that had it's front end damaged.
it's a shame theres only a few of these around at transit systems region 2 & region 6 plus busways region 1. have only all ordered these yutong E12s. it's CDC nsw that's still left waiting for an electric rollout for them. but not sure what their going to get in the future. but I do know it is likely that they could receive a volgren BYD electric optimus in the future. because CDC had normally been reliant on volgren vehicles only in their fleet. because I believed that with the dissolving transdev that meant they would no longer served their byd volgren units on their trials anymore. so it could mean that CDC might adopt them, but specifically its either they ll have a hybrid version or hydrogen optimus electrics when the time comes. I am sure CDC will have some green friendly emissions vehicles coming to western Sydney too. because most of the rollout was suppose to reach 2030
actually these were based out of the Smithfield depot, & their normally doing roster shift run within my region 3 region. as on a normal weekday they normally run the 817/804/807 from my cabramtta area then they will commence on other shifts and will start a 904 service.
my region has them too out of Smithfield depot. I caught 1 region 6 element 2 unit before to tempe. it was really nice. but had yet to catch my regions one.
👍👍👍👍👍
wow nice
wow nice. i would love to see these units get rostered to run on the 817 or 805 sometime in my area.
quite the musical tune on these
yesterday It was my first time onboard region 6 element 2 heading to tempe. it was nice ride. then today i saw one of my regions element 2 had arrived in Parramatta earlier today then commenced a 802 service. plus punchbowl bus co charter has some white gemilang units I had seen over the past few days operating on the southwestlink service. it could be the same units as these, it looked brand new at the time.
Burwood also transferred 7 Volvo B10BLE Phoenix Orana buses to Brookvale to cover the stopped artic buses.
This bus is now accredated under Henry's Buses
some of these units were not included on the SW service with the other half already been mobilised on the southwestlink from marrickville depot thats been operating. but because as they would need to keep these other half units on normal route duties. for as it's really important for u Go to have a reliable efficient number fleet of vehicles available on route service. because being short on vehicles is not efficient as some services would need to get cancelled. due to vehicle shortfall. as the operator would have to source in other assets from different depots. to makeup for the fleet. if in case this happens, they will do that. which this was the only first time u go mobility has received these Ex Sta B12 & ex CDC B7rle cr228l for use on southwestlink with majority of the B12s was stationed at marrickville.
these still are the loudest diesel orana units I ever seen from the fleet. because its like how their B12 CB60 rival. has a more noisy tune aswell.
I saw my regions custom denning element 2 in my area of Cabramatta today doing 807 to cabramatta for the first time as it reached Cabramatta station. then spotted it again today at Liverpool.
STA used to run these vehicle's on rail replacement back in the day.
Beautiful bus and beautifully driven there! Lovely to see and hear,
very interesting comfort bus
the newer builds are much efficient vehicles. with real newer looks to them. it is 100 percent Australian built bustech vst.
these ran on my local 805 service I caught two times a while back.
I got a chance to ride on these southlink BCI units today to sydenham. it was great. & on the return trip I caught one u go mobility b12 back to bankstown & the second one to Lidcombe.
I been seeing these models in Liverpool. as their being much like a highroader bus. that can run in any insteep climb roads.
wow nice. this is actually their first day in service. its not been common before have they ever used these cdc B7's on any special replacement run contract in a long time. i know when the same thing happened. that these b7s were still with CDC at the time. they were only using the newer models from CDC & transdev. it's however these B7s have only been rostered on the rail replacement service for many years up until now when u go mobility got sent these to make up the fleet at marrickville depot and deploy them on the stationlink service .
these CB80's is Australian built
I been very disappointed about how much of our buses gets so much of these awful graffitis scratch marks on the Windows and graffiti on the seatings on-board the original and newer models. which makes some buses so dirty and unclean, because the cost of running these buses will probably not be cheap for the operator. because we rely on really good reliable public transport including buses. that keep us moving everyday. the original custom coaches cb60 is one example, that gets vandalised too much. as they been an older class gas model in the fleet. that was once under the sta brand. so as they continue their long life service in sydney. they will probably spend more time in service. until when they all get replaced. sometime when they get expiry date. so with like their newest bustech midi vst units, they have graffiti resistant dots on their Windows to prevent graffiti from being dented on the glass. it would be a good idea if they adopted this on all CB60 b12 units.
the BYD series engine is the most important powering component most powered on the ex Transdev BYD optimus electric model and these units. as their only one of the leading brand's powering our electric buses in Sydney. but comparing that to the diesel side, their engines are mostly made of Volvo/Mercedes benz and Scania. they have a high quality performance on most of the australian built models as they normally run on diesel & ad blue as they required .
there been some element 2s running in my region which Sydney buses and trains fan 804 had filmed. with some of my regions element 2 on the 804 route. their aparently based out of the Smithfield depot. but I hope sometime if you could be able to film some aswell from my region. I would to request for my region 3 element video.
Unfortunately mate these are not tfnsw buses, they are privately owned by transit systems so very unlikely to enter public service. More likely train replacement and charter routes. Nsw has an electric only mandate meaning all new buses must be electric and as you can see, these don’t fit. But maybe these will be an exception, we will have to wait and see
hello @region 10 bus videos, be careful to stay clear of such much misinformation like this about these new transit systems buses.on your comments because the comment you see of what It may have mean may not be true. because some people out there, are putting up unknown sources about what tfnsw is doing with these buses or what their unknown purpose is for. because he's trying to correct transport vloggers on any information that he has yet needs to be proven first. so I am just letting u know, about this. because I want to help your channel comments be safe from misinformation @region 10 Bus videos. so that it keeps growing & being a better bus channel. what I am saying is now, is that this person was sharing misinformation because he still misleading people. and he does that all the time. to say whatever he thinks, would try to sell this story to some people, that turned out not to come out as true. because he does not work for the transport agency nor does he work for transit systems or tfnsw. you cant trust this person on everything he says about the new bci's. the story is really fabricated, I am sure they will become fully serviced route bus very soon sometime in future. and they will be a part of my region hoxton park fleet. because they have the hoxton park accreditation on it. so clearly from what this person was saying about our buses, has no knowledge of our public bus system, or doesn't knows the news properly. which is not right for him to say things that is completely false. but @region 10 bus videos your video is ok. it's just that you need to make sure you don't have people spreading misinformation on your video, like what this individual had done. because TH-cam won't allow anyone to spread misinformation on their platform. because it might lead to people to reading the wrong things that isn't true, because that's why it's part of their community guidelines policy. to protect the TH-cam community from misinformation. that something like this is making it a violation for this person to be spreading it on your video. so he could be doing harm to your channel. if his comments was going to get people reading the wrong thing.would have such had effect on the transport community who would get confused & mislead. but for me, I know the transport very well because I carefully do some studying on buses & transport, because it keeps me well informed for what's going on operators that's getting new buses or trains, & which depot they will be going to. i go onto the most well informed bus forum Australia & fleetlists. to get good sources & they absolutely kept me well informed. of what I'm looking for. i learn everyday on buses, because i know how to look up on a good reliable bus fleet webpage. that gives me all the results right there. with fleet numbers/model type/depots/registration & every information that's there's from the operator to region. becsuse we know to how get better news on what's going on with our public transport. it's always on the internet, why not look that up. it's a simple thing people should really do more often on getting the proper information & study proper on buses first before they start spreading anything out by commenting. because simple one person who commented on this video was not involved with public transport at all. it's simply their using buses as their interest but had little knowledge or exact real information of what's going to happen with the bci. he is misleading the public. & that's all his intention is. you can trust the right person who knows best about buses. but not someone's who putting buses as an excuse to make it look like a laughingstock. as it's simply not acceptable to say it straight out that this model is not going into route service or that transit systems Is a private company giving their bci buses to charter. it's such nonsense. to that it goes againts the transport enthusiast community, on TH-cam. for not giving real insight on buses. it just makes no sense. because I got involved with buses for the first time after coming from trains that I been passionate about all my life. that just find our buses so much exciting as well. and that I been riding on my regions operator and every other in Sydney. that got me so passionate of learning about them. because I know the models/depots/regions/bus numbers & regos/. because like Nick . he is misleading & is not a representative from tfnsw as he does not represent the corporate body for the public transport. nor does he work for the publisher agency publishing such sillyness about from what tfnsw was talking about with BCI.
wow nice. my operator got them for hoxton park. I'm excited for after once southwestlink had ended. these will be working on my region routes as their an added fleet to the depot.. I like these better too. they definetly got good specs to it. but compared to the BCI electric models they run on battery and require charging as to the diesel vehicle's. they also require petrol and ad blue. this is good high quality bus. & it will finally give my hoxton park depot a good fleet refresher. i would love to add to say that, Region 6 had often ordered the Gemilangs & yutongs instead of the BCI, because it was a much better option for them to keep with the gemilangs. as the operator find it something affordable for them to be happy with to purchase as part of their long-term fleet. custom coaches/ bustech and volgren still continued manfacturing here In australia, giving bus companies more purchasing power to get which bus they like & how they want it specifically built to suit them.
Why are u breathing so heavy 😂
Cause I nearly missed this bus and bolted for it
I think u go mobility at some point would have to refurbish these b12 units into the tfnsw liverly one day possibly. to keep it aligned with the other u go units in the fleet. that's already in the tfnsw liverly. as the previous operater is no longer the owner of the fleet. but it used to be in the hands of transdev.
the newer B8 series engine on the optimus and vst bodies sounds a lot different from the B7 that tends to have a more powerful rev roar sound. while as the B8 series sounds a lot smoother and more healthy.
region 2 had the same batches as region 6. when it was first ordered by interline, then the following order came about with region 6 ordering the same batches. interline & transit systems region 6 have both got charging stations at their depots, specially built to charge their yutongs. weather or not their just for the yutongs but their purposely shared to charge their other electric models. but as soon as its on a full charge, they can run on a full charge all day, but nothing was different from the two models, as their the same type.being electric. at the moment it's currently transit systems region 2 and 6 that exclusively runs these units out of their depots.
THE articulated b12 Cb60 versions were based on these standard units
their really an interesting kind bus. that reminded me of busabout's MAN CB80 unit.
u go mobility is currently housing some of these ex sta b12ble units at marrickville depot to be deployed on southweststationlink. plus they also gained some rare CDC region 4 b7rle cr228l transfers too that's transferred to u go mobility that has now also been based at marrickville to make up for the southweststationlink fleet alongside the b12s.
these are Australian made, & manufactured from the st Mary's custom coaches facility.
this 14.5 version is based on the same body design as the orginal B7 CB60 ev0 2 unit. that has a wide capacity to accommodate the number of passengers onboard during peak times and off peak.
the difference between red bus and transit systems bci units, is that their windows are different shaped design and back of drivers cab has a see through glass and red bus one is full covered. BCI is a big name Bus body manufacturer that produces a lot of different BCI bus products including electric vehicles. their a well earned name in the Australian market right now that produced electric buses for CDC Red bus and interline now transit systems region 2. their a similar competitive brand to yutong that also gotten into the Australian market produced their yutong e12 to region 6 and 2.
transit systems region 6 still owns most of their ex STA B8 optimus units including with their own built b8 optimus units in the fleet.
these still reminisce STA with their seat fabrics on the seats.
this is interesting, that how the tsa & STA built b8rle optimus units are so different from each other with the STA version adopted the transdev b7rle cr228l window design.while tsa had still stuck to the traditional optimus body design with Windows being the same. but you will notice on the engine grills behind the bus being slightly different too.plus there's the usual two dual leaf centre doors. that traditionally transit systems had always adopted. the back two lights up top is very same as sta.
This Scania sounds goofy to me when it was trying to idle, like at 0:33. I have heard a few Euro 4 ones like this, before.
this bodwork is the same style as the Volvo B8RLE units. with the windows being standard see through. while as the VOLVo B8rles units one has more darker tinted windows. you could not see much through the bus from the outside as a passenger. it's really the STA specific built model that they ordered mostly. but in terms with these windows, it's mostly much the same type on their CB60 units but with a different design look minor difference in terms of the bodwork. with the CB60 version ones. their middle windows go sloppy down while as this unit is straighten & sloppy on the other side. windows have minor difference.
these mostly get fully charged at their depots in the inner and can run on a full charge all day. they have about a fleet of these at Tempe & does only run within their region 6 zone. while currently kingsgrove depot does not have any of these Gemilang byd electric units there.they do however have custom denning elements.
these were the very first Gemilang bodied buses introduced in Australia.
this family run operator is now taken over & operated by cdc. & currently operates under the newly rebranded CDC Red bus services logo. plus CDC also operates coastal liner in the area.
on the fleetlist there was still lots of custom coaches elements first series and the series 2. listed in Delivery.
