It’s odd seeing these types of videos, for 10 years I did 360 repairs from dvd drives to jtag/rgh and reballs, xkey installs etc but In 2024 I won’t even touch them anymore.

Salvaging 90NM xbox360's from 2005 to mid 2008 you will come to find out you dont want the headache. You will deal with buyers that want to do returns after doing their home work, or will get a dead console after about a week, even after RE-Balling GPU's. "Bump Gate" was a real thing with xbox 360's and PS3's of that era because the lead balls (because lead is "cheap") would crack under high heat due to the substantially higher voltage demand. Some of these consoles you are testing have just sat cold for so long that the solder temporarily holds a connection. You really shouldn't be messing with any 360 until the 80NM quick fix that started in June 2008. Other than that so you don't get complaints on " working" units from 2005 to mid 2008 you should just dismantle and do a part out. The hard drives alone sell for a premium just because they are required to do emulation for O.G xbox backwards compatibility.

another good video toplel! i would reccomend checking for parental control lock in future videos however. you can simply see if they are locked by going to system settings, and seeing if initial setup is sorta greyed out! amazing little series of videos by the way, they make me mom's cooking even more enjoyable.

Any consoles with 0102 or 0110 error code can be towel tricked to get to boot up. 0001 is bad capacitors

You can get the Falcon with the busted USB ports to work in a pinch before replacing the USB ports so you can test the Falcon. Just bend up the mangled pins to where they're not shorting.

The consoles that act like they are booting but no display prob have what's called a hidden RROD. It's when the GPU fails but the SMC doesn't see it to give the RROD. I have such console, it's Zephyr

We shall save the blades consoles together. I own 6 and trying to find more. Lots of them are red ringed so we’re cpu transferring blades CPUs onto boards with good GPU chips

Towel trick the red ringed ones and see if they have blades. If so, they are worth getting a new GPU. I’ve saved many blades consoles doing this. I have 7 blades consoles currently in my collection (had more but sold them.) Also the 7371 dash is the LAST Jtaggable dash, that’s worth money right there

Falcons are evil consoles. Even if they are working on the dash, they are freezing in some games if the GPU/CPU goes faulty. So you cant say that they are working if they boot up. Jaspers on the other Side are rock solid and the only problem thy can develop, is a not working disc drive. Would always buy an jasper, never a slim or something before the jaspers. Personally i have a jasper and as second 360, a Elite Fat 360 with a manufacturing date from 2011. That is still unbelievable to me, because in 2011 microsoft had long stopped the fat production. But it stands in front of me. A fat 360 with a 2011 manufacturing sticker.
