เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 29 ม.ค. 2008
This channel focuses on reviews for products we use in our house day to day, with a toddler. I work on my house as a DIY dad, so we do some construction as well.

Just ordered mine!! 🙌🏼
Strange on the sizing. My shoes were too short. I should have gone up a 1/2 size in length. I wonder if there is a difference in men’s/women’s sizing
Hi, Do you feel hot in your legs while you're wearing them?
You weight 300lbs min. Disgusting
Thanks for the review. I'm just now looking to buy similar shoes. I noticed that there are a lot of variations with the same platform, and I think that this review is suitable for all models
What's your opinion on the sucralose that it contains?
@@mtorres469 small enough amount that I don't worry about it, the taste additives make me drink more water, and also take Creatine, which aligns with me personal goals
How 500G per container and 5G per serving and it make 77 servings only?
@@iown_dark1161 there are other things besides pure creatine in it
@@reviewsbydads like what? This means I should take 7 grams of it?
@@iown_dark1161 no you take a serving size, the flavoring adds weight
@@reviewsbydadsbut it says serving size of 5 grams? How can a serving be 5 grams but also contain more then 5 grams of stuff in it?
It looks like a G6. Can it be calibrated with finger sticks like the G7? As state by others, insurance will not pay for the G7 and G6 unless you are on insulin. Basically, insurance is telling their customers we want you to have more complications, be way more diseased, before we will pay.
I just bought the same pair. Took the sole insert out and enjoyed a good long walk. This is my fourth pair of barefoot shoes, definitely street-worthy but I wouldn't want to go off-road for the lack of a toe-guard. I normally do size 10.5, and Whitin's sizing chart suggested 11, but I went with 10 and got a perfect fit.
Please speak louder
"that's really what a good friend does" haha i love that, you would be a good crew member for an ultra
Would these be good for someone who suffers from plantar fasciitis in both feet and needs to walk his dog at least 30 min a day? My Rottie needs to burn off her energy and my feet feel worse when I get done walking her. I've tried a few different shoes and still can't find anything that works.
that goes beyond my expertise but its worth a try! they are pretty cheap, and you gottta get that dog some exercise!
@@reviewsbydads Thanks, she gets her walk in regardless of how I'm doing. It's good for me anyway.
I have these shoes and concur that they are really good. My one nitpick with the quality would be that they are a bit liberal with the glue usage. Some was even hardened on the laces when I opened the box. Worth noting is that with any shoe like this you don't have much rock protection, so it might not be the best hiking shoe. But as a daily do-everything show it's a good choice, especially for the price.
Ya that's a good point, definitely a decent amount of glue
That's funny I wear a size 11 and I had to order a size 12 to get the right fit.
huh that is weird. Maybe its just inconsistent sizing in general and not necessarily a half size too big?
what's the sq ft. of space you are heating/dehumidifying?
About 300
@@reviewsbydads Thx bud stay cool
It sounds like the sizing is the brannock measure like many bootmakers use. Normally a half size different.
May be right about that, I'm not familiar with it but good thought
Just got the 20ft for my 4 gallon ridgid for mobile car detailing. Works amazing and fits like a charm! Also my detailing attachments all fit. Great buy!
that's awesome!
Thank you! I wear these. They're amazing for the price.
Glad you like them!
You might consider using acetone diluted glue such as Shoe Goo or 3M Plastic Emblem and Trim Adhesive to seal all exterior threads to prevent fraying/failure. Seals and waterproofs as well, perhaps on the fabric interface with the sole. The shoes will have greater duribility.
Great idea
Good luck with that I just bought a DeWalt gasoline powered self-propelled mower and I don't think it'll last 3 years. It might not last one year what a piece of junk.
I'm not sure DeWalt really is good with anything gas powered, I stick with battery stuff only from them
@@reviewsbydads there are a few reasons I chose gasoline over electric and now there are a few reasons I will choose Toro over dewalt.
I added them to my bomb vest and carried them on Ops for about 5 years. They cut much better than normal shears, and the seatbelt cutter I used for opening backpacks and soft bags. These things are money. They don't wear out and clean up easy. Worth every dime.
Hell ya.
So, how does it attract the mosquitoes?
The light attracts them, mainly at night
@@reviewsbydads and I'm guessing a fan blows them into the trap?
@@EdwardM919 that is my understanding
I have a hobibears that is basically the same and I like running and working out in them. Very easy to clean too. Just brush them with a bear brush and it cleans the superficial dirt very easily
Nice I would like to try those
I bought the hobibear vegan leather in black for work, had them for 2months now very durable so far only issue I had was when I first wore them the heal material lining was rubbing on the back of my heal but now that they have broken in I don't have that rubbing issue anymore.
@@lukemothug I have one for work to, they blend him pretty well. I never noticed the rubbing on the heel. Maybe the sizing? But good thing it got better after it broke down a bit
what an asshole cutting peoples rings!?!?! instead of lubing them up and sliding them off with a piece of plastic and he ruins ski pants!?!? just slide off the pants asshole
Too bad the change takes so long. It really isnt practical for either of the uses you mentioned. I'm sure they're great safety glasses, and the tinting is nice, I just dont imagine it being super effective for those brief windows of time, stepping out to cut a board or riding through sunlight and shade.
they take longer than I would like to be honest. They work well if you are switching tasks (lighting wise) for several minutes, like if you are riding in shade and then switch to riding in open areas, or are working inside and then need to be outside for a task, but just quickly switching does not work, its too slow
@@reviewsbydads They still seem worthwhile to get though, don't get me wrong.
Can you use a different app than Signos? Or is it locked down
no its just a dexcom monitor you can pair it with any app that can read dexcom. I used the dexcom app itself for it, which is pretty awful. I am geussing their are better free apps, but probably the best you have to pay for (like signos)
idk the name and I've never gotten around to getting some but the scissors i really love are this old fashioned japanese style, almost like mini bbq tong scissors if that makes sense, basically they're one solid piece of steel folded with a round lump in the middle and at each end are the blades, I want them to cut up pot plants better without having to reopen them after every squeeze as the curve makes them lightly spring loaded basically and i have nerve damage in my hand so that'd help.
what about a pair of pruning shears?
Can you get the G7 now via signos?
I don't know that is a good question...I'll look into it
@@reviewsbydads The app has a lot of bad reviews. You still recommend it?
yes, you can get the g7 through signos if you agree to be a part of their research
So you haven’t had any issues with rust from blood? I am thinking about buying them as a gift for someone and that was the only issue I could find people having with them, well other than people saying they are expensive.
No not yet, I don't get much blood on them to be honest, usually it's just dirt and crap from accidents and people's clothes. I do wash them after anything with blood. I haven't tried the knockoffs yet
Quick and to the point! Thanks
you're most welcome
Agree. I thought it wouldn't be great because it was cheaper but I was very glad I was wrong. I also started using their creatine as well - It's 8 grams per serving and the average person doesn't really need more than 5 so I just don't fill the scoop all the way.
Thats a good point I haven't tried their creatine right now I use nutricost I like the flavor of it
My friend has one and loves it. He says after 6 months of use, he started squatting to pee and now is lactating.
this is perhaps one of the funniest comments I have seen, well done sir
You're dee facing currency You're going to jail
Its only illigal if your doing it with fraudulent motives, which he is not...
@@uncleiroh2844 it was a joke
I had strong scissors back then, can cut aluminum sheet and lot of things. Miss them now
Have you sharpened the blades? How often?
I have not, which is a good point now that you bring it up. Probably should but dang these things still cut great
This could cut some thin metal ?
Ya actually they can cut a coin
You don't use oxygen tank tool ever
no our oxygen tanks have a wrench attached to them, what about you?
1:21 how we anticipate an expression but he was being literal, lol
They're overpriced, and more than likely, the extra toys on there will never get used. Ill stick with my X-shears. Just as good and about $60 cheaper. That in itself is a no brainer.
I haven't tried them but mostly likely yes, probably the better buy overall if they work.
Used mine for 10 years every day, at work, at home, everywhere. I've cut everything from bloody kevlar vests to steel wire, wet seatbelts, climbing ropes, harnesses, leather boots, casts, and even two-pence coins. In half. They are still sharp. I have never sharpened them. Give me one other cutting tool that can match that. So ignorant "experts" who say they're overpriced should perhaps learn a thing or two about what makes a real quality piece of equipment...
Probably, but having personal stuff is also about showing it off to your colleagues and making them jealous.
@@cnsmooth not wrong about that
On your seatbelt cutter you also have the oxygen wrench, which works really good to. The glass breaker is the weak link, i find that it doesn't work most of the time. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.
Yes very true, thanks for adding that. Do you have a pair of these?
@@reviewsbydads yes I do, I have them in black, I keep them in my bunker gear pocket, so I always have something on hand.
Glass is the best 😌
Nice little review dude. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
Screw plastic
Stop being lazy wash that shit right
This was great info. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Is the flavor totally organic ?!
No, it's artificial flavor
Less expensive .... lookat the M1 from Ultrahuman,
The Signos connection to Apple Health automatically adds all my exercises.
nice!
Cool review! Some extended app screencasts would have been cool as well!
