If you do not have access to analog youth or kimeramon I can definitely see those being alternatives. I do believe the deck strongly needs the anolog youth for consistency and setting up 😕

You make some great points! I haven’t had much luck with the gabumon ex1 😅 I found myself bottom decking stuff I needed but I’ll chop that up to bad luck. Gabumon from EX1 has made me bot deck so many pieces I have needed so I took it out. I will say with the jamming egg you don't necessarily need the DP boost anymore though so I have opted to play only 2 of them. I replaced the other 2 with the on play draw 1 gabumon. This way I feel like I am getting some value if I need to hard drop a rookie, also going second starting at three having the drawbu plus gabumon x is insane amounts of draw power. I also agree on playing at least 3 cool boy it helps find pieces and extend plays. The x antibody option can honestly go down to 2 I feel now that promo weregaru is at 1 because now the wombo combo of swinging for all 5 checks with just a level 5 is harder to pull off with it at 1.

@@RyanWobser Could be an RNG thing, as I have not bottom decked many pieces as I would already have them in hand from the draw Garuru. The option I still have as a 3 of because you want to see it for the Ace in X or Omni into Omni X plays. I can see the want to play the Draw Gabu, I just hardly drop rookies.

I have attempted to play 2 of the option and found myself wishing I played three 😅 that’s why upped the count as well

I believe you’re referring to when he swung into the goldVeedramon. I used armor purge and then he swung into the veemon that remained to get rid of another body. Hope this helps!

We are using the new oversleeves from dragon shield. They are labeled “clear outer”. They don’t last as long as the kmc oversleeves but they do make the art on the digimon sleeves more visible which is a big plus in my opinion. Hopefully this helps!

You are correct but considering that the ouryuken was down plenty of sources and he had another one in hand, he would get more use out of the new stack instead of blocking and losing it. Since the ouryuken when digivolving effect deletes and the only thing the current on board ouryuken was good for was just to gain memory at end of turn and a couple of swings

No inconvenience at all! I have modified for bt12 ultimate cup. Currently running 3 machgaogamon bt4, 2 machgagamon bt11 and 2 beowolfmon bt7. I changed the deck to run 4 lanamons and removed the kumamons and one gaogamon. Added cocytus breath for the v wingblade and removed one hammer spark for a blue memory boost. I did run it in this past ultimate cup and it did not go over well due to Machinedramon. The other matchups I had were fine but the Machinedramon locks the deck down completely. Bloomlord/quartz you just need to play modoki and syakomon to shut them down completely. Red hybrid you just need to outpace aggressiveness. And Beelzemon you just need to have a modoki to prevent the memory gain. I would not suggest the deck in bt12 honestly. I love it but it has its flaws still 🙁 hopefully this helps

I see what you were referring to now. The veemon in breeding is still considered a blue source that you control. Anytime you have a digimon or egg in your breeding, you are able to use the option with that color requirement

yes I agree with you. I am still in the process of learning the deck. Was there different optimal plays I sis not see that you would have done differently, besides that awful misplay from not gaining memory from bt12 wargrowlmon? 😅 I would like to get more pointers from experienced players as I'm still learning the best way to play the deck

​@@DigiBrozz Depending on your build, a good way to approach Gallantmon first is by playing the game of chicken with your opponent. Play mem boosts, searchers and tamers, build your stack in the back and let them get out their Digimon first. Then punish them for it, delete their board, gain a ton of memory, possibly draw some cards, and best case check or trash some of their security. Now they should be at the stage where they have to start a new stack, so you should have another turn with Gallantmon and to prepare a new stack. Keep in mind that a new stack sometimes just means evolving into a ST Guilmon that can warp, or any Guilmon + play BT12 Takato to warp next turn (if they delete your Gallantmon, you should now have Growlmon and WarGrowlmon in trash for that, if not, perfect, you still have Gallantmon). To get used to the deck, you should try playing it more as a control deck that fills up the opponent's trash and does 2-3 checks (or, again, trash 2-3 security), then go Crimson Mode for game. Of course that depends on your build, and if you play ST Gallantmon, sometimes going aggressive early can put a lot of pressure. But by patient, you'll start getting a better feel of when to go aggro.

@@DigiBrozz accidently deleted my comment so im retyping it lol. an optimal play would be to digivolve into wargrowl x at 6:18. this would've deleted his 6k digimon making him lose 1 memory, suspend takato so now your at 2 (he still gets tamer). Then go into gallant for 3, blitz with 2 checks, and gain 2 memory at the end of turn so your back to 1 memory. Then probably play the searcher guilmon. The gallant should be safe on the next turn since he had a clear board so you would've been able to attack for another 2 checks and who knows, depending on the cards you drew you might've been able to win. Learning new decks is hard man so don't worry about the mistakes, hope this helped.

Which set red wargrowls?

EX3 Wargrowlmon is amazing still, BT12 Growlmon sets up 1 Takato while the EX3 Wargrowl sets up another one(or a guilmon, giving it more flexibility) essentially saving you 6+ memory. While it can mill some of your pieces, the overall pay off is enough to warrant running at least 2 of it.

@@GuitarPlayingTV By milling. But also, it can play Takato from trash *or* hand. So WarGrowlmon essentially plays a Takatoif if it's in your hand or in the top 3 cards of your deck (top 4 if you count the digivolution draw). Compare that to BT12 Damemon that plays only if it's on the top 3, or BT11 Aeroveedramon that doesn't even play the tamers it finds. It essentially acts like both a search + free play for Takato. And if all else fails, you can still play a Guilmon from trash of hand, which sometimes is needed when you need to find that last piece, maybe a Lv6 or Crimson Mode. All while milling your opponent as well.

Yes you are correct! The odds weren’t in my favor that game 😅 what would have been better was going into the new ulforce x antibody and dropped another rina but I can’t remember if I had those in hand already or drew into them. I showed them in hand at the end of the game but now I’m not sure if I did have them 🤔

@@DigiBrozz yeah, no matter what you were losing that Ulforce in the front for sure. You needed another Rina, which it looked like you had in your hand and an additional blue tamer to be able to block, then use the active Rina to play another Tamer to renew active your Ulforce, and then evade to dodge the piercing. You would have then needed another blue tamer in your hand, in order to potentially win the turn after, assuming, of course, the last security check for the WarGreymon player was not Hades force OR another Omnimon. 🤣

Ulforce can't restand on your opponents turn.

@@Kmad1129 ulforce x antibody can because his when digivolving effect is to unsuspend. So if there’s an unsuspended rina out then you could trigger that unsuspend with a block or evade. Sorry about the confusion. I am still learning the decks full potential currently 🙏🏻
