When we talk about Japan, we can never forget Mt. Fuji. Japan and Mt. Fuji are almost synonymous with each other. Seeing Mt. Fuji has always been on my bucket list. There’s just something about it that calls to me-no exaggeration.
I’ve been incredibly anxious about this day because I’ve been planning this trip for so long. For me, seeing Mt. Fuji was a make-or-break moment for my travel. It would surely set the tone for the rest of my trip.
Leading up to the day I planned to visit Kawaguchiko, I kept checking the weather apps. The closer the day got, the cloudier the forecast became. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much.
When we arrived, the clouds were indeed covering Fuji-san. But, little by little, he started to emerge. I can’t even describe how happy I was-I actually cried a little. Seeing him in person, even just his tip, was absolutely incredible.
