A reverse split is when if you own 10 shares you will then own less shares say 1 share in order to boost the price. A split is when you get more shares and it decreases the price. You said the opposite of how it works.

I'm also very long oil stocks. For a few years. I agree it looks like we get a bounce in the S&P up to there, seems hard to believe that we would just continue straight down. I also agree that it's just a sellable bounce and that maybe we are into a new bear market.

Yeah, I've thought there would be 0 cuts back when they were saying 7 cuts. Everything at all time highs, how are there going to be cuts and just how is inflation coming down? You always hear "inflation is coming down". I don't see it. Glad to hear that oil is still underestimated, hopefully it stays that way.

We have lower CPI than expected here in Canada so I guess combining that with the bankruptcy filings chart is a little bit like the recession scenario finally manifesting in our country. WTI had a nice +2.27% $1.78 per barrel gain this past Friday. Hopefully the API doesn't take a dump on everything Tuesday 4:30 pm EST with their inventory data release.
