I made a longer hose on the suction side and basically basically a drop stick, remove the lid and drop it in. This way when I'm done washing, I pull the drop stick out of the tank and drop it in a 5 gallon bucket of fresh water to rinse the pump. It's better and doesn't splash bleach when I pull my trailer.

I bought a DeWalt pressure washer last week and im having the same issue on first use.

It’s a good starter system but 5/8 hose is too big for this pump. I switched to a 1/2. If not you’ll run through the solution way to fast. Just buy smaller barbs for the pump to switch to a 1/2 hose. I’ve done about 50+ jobs with this system. I make sure to drain it with water after every job.

You need to replace the fuel tank vent valve, that should fix the stalling out of the engine.

It’s either a fuel or oil issue machine makes that noise when it starving for either of those two.

Possible Fuel starvation. check the needle and seat. It’ll run the fuel bowl dry and stop. Wait a minute, it will fill. start then run dry again.

The sudden shut off make me think it's losing spark which can be caused by a few different things maybe a bad oil sensor or just low on oil if it has one or it could be a bad coil or maybe just a bad spark plug. But it's hard to know for sure without knowing more.

Check the oil sometimes they shut off because not enough oil.

When trying to get a hose like that to lay- if you get it into the position you want and leave it for a few days or better yet a week or so it should get some memory and stay that way. Heat guns can also be useful for bends and such. Thanks for the vid!

You could use a 1 inch small copper pipe, heat up using a torch and make clean hole by forcing the pipe into the tank.

You could install a fitting and ball valve down there so you can drain the tank if need be.

Try the f9 product line of chemicals you can even down a cook book that will direct you on how to use it on all type of cleaning scenarios it even has pictures to show you what type of chemical to use on he type of job you are looking to clean. Good luck on your journey.
