Gold Ridge Designs is an education and infotainment channel. I have made this channel to introduce to you various software used in Structure engineering, Hydraulics and Hydrology. Use of Microsoft Excel is quite common among engineers, therefore I will also upload content about Excel and its use in numerical analysis and modelling. My aim is to make videos with practical cases of application in day to day life.

What to do if my model pass in all drift and displacement checks but somehow still gets extreme irregularity and irregularity exists in some lateral load cases?
Do I need to consider torsional irregularity for 2 storey residential. Building due to architectural arrangements of column and beams
Most of the codes suggest to calculate torsional irregularity, largely for the structures experiencing lateral loads. For instance, Seismic Design Category of your building will suggest to calculate this irregularity or not.

Sir i understood beam column capacity ratio but sir what is mean by column beam capacity ratio?
In short, column beam capacity ratio is inverse of beam column capacity ratio. Both compliment the strong column-weak beam criterion for ductile failure. Was away. Couldn't reply sooner. I will this topic to my list to make a video about it. Thanks
