If you do not even have anything, you may only submit the passport bio page and that's all you got. This is not a big deal if you have a solid offer letter, I mean an offer from a high ranked University with some or no Scholarship/Assistantship. It is going to behelpful if you are not an outstanding scholar as determined by the VO.

For me the process I have discussed is easier because I am habituated with this one. 35 pages is not a big deal. If the documents go beyond 4 mb in any of the sections, you will need to compress pdf. That’s it. Not a problem.

The more money with legit backup documents you can show the better.

Yes sir, you need ECA. ECA raises your acceptance to ircc and is required for point calculation. But, if you are applying only for yourself, submit only your passport, that's fine. You are most welcome.

You need to respond to the ADR according to the documents required by the VO. If your documentation against their ADR is strong, you need not feel tensed.

For Visit Visa at least you should book a hotel. If you also book flight that is even better and will raise the possibility of visa but not mandatory. I have seen people getting approved without flight tickets but they had hotel booking at least.

It is better if you can manage the bank statement for both yours and of the host. At least you need your host's bank statements and if possible, employment related papers to make it even stronger. If you are unable, try to show at least something for yourself in your bank account. The more you can show, the better it is.
