Really pleased to see that the value of the course is now well understood and funded by the council. I had a part-time job for Am Bata when the project started and was responsible for applying for and managing funding, which worked for a few years but was not sustainable in the medium to long term. Two of my sons did the course and are among those who said it was the best thing they ever did in school.

Anyone notice they are chopping down road and path side trees ??? Now they are down, it doesn't take much common sense to realise why they were chopped down. Now the road and footpaths with their new LED street lamps are in direct sight of the 4/5G towers. This is all part of the dystopian agenda being rolled out all over the world. Maximum surveillance and control

Well done indeed. It took some time for the book to be closed on this election, and I'm sure many others were watching the live feed today. But to all those people in the Count Centre over the last few days, you have my admiration. Now get yourselves home to have a well deserved rest.

What a long drawn out meeting that was 😀. A lot of good reports from the fire service and the housing and education, not that I understood a lot of it but you certainly did give very thorough reports so well done 👏 . It was nice to hear your words and thoughts of Tain Councillor Alasdair Rhind on his passing which has been a massive shock to the community. Nice words are all well and good but Alasdair put everything into Tain and it's people, his devotion to the job was second to none and I do not think there will ever be anyone quite like him again. My thoughts are simple, the man was a leader, a great human being, he worked harder than anyone in making Tain a great place to live and to be proud of. We must show him as one of the most important men of Tain in our most recent history, he should be remembered far into the future and so I believe Highland Council in conjuction with the people of Tain should commission a statue of him to stand proud on Tain High Street. I am sure there is so m e way through Highland Council to obtain grants to put something like this in place. I therefore urge all our councillors to push this forward and make HC understand that the highlands isn't just Inverness but that great things and great people live amongst us in ALL our towns and villages within the highlands. It will be totally wrong if nothing is done to remember the man who gave his all for the Oldest Royal Burgh in Scotland. So councillors get out there and make the effort to give Alasdair Rhind the recognition he so well deserves and let him be an inspiration to everyone. Now as for that " Big Bust" as your meeting has made so well known, well done to you all. I think personally things like that are an important part of history and as such should remain in the place it was intended. I do understand though that it is a good bit of money that could help Invergordon achieve a lot of improvements etc within the town, my fear is that the populous would spend that £2.5million pretty quickly on things that were a total waste of time. I think Councillor Maxine Smith has done a fantastic job of firstly finding it and then highlighting it to the world, where now there is real interest in it and Invergordon to the extent that it is worth so much. To me that is down to Maxine and how she put it out there, well done to her on that. I also think that you all made good representations on this and with Councillor Derek Louden adding the useful fact of the sell on fee, (well done Derek) I think perhaps selling it off is not all doom and gloom. I hope that the common good find can be explained a bit better one day at perhaps a meeting of the Invergordon public, to ease their fears over how it would be spent and who is actually in control of the money that will be generated. I don't think the way for it to go is with going to HC cap in hand and asking if they can get some of their OWN money to buy or invest in something. If it is Invergordons common good fund then it should be held and controlled only by the people of Invergordon....my thoughts only 😉. I have to admit though you all did very well at this meeting, Sarah, Morven, Maureen, Derek, Maxine and anyone I may have missed. By the way, forget the legalities of doing the consultation and how it was all legal.... I totally disagree with not having massive community meetings where proper consultation can be had and proper votes can be taken on things, if its for the people it should be down to the people and the people should be given the chance to have a proper say on matters. That's all folks, here is looking to a brighter future for Invergordon 😀

Explain how this reduces pollution, the most efficient speed is about 40mph so that is a complete lie. Does anyone really believe that any of these 20mph zones will be removed after spending all this money on signage. Snp at their dishonest best propped up by their pals the greens.

As evidenced throughout this rubberstamping meeting, all the discussions took place at closed ward business meetings. This is hardly open and transparent to those members of the public. Clearly this reinforces just how much of a sham theNAC meeting is.
