Where was this? Name of the officer? He literally admitted he had no reason to stop you. I would have torn this guy a new one in court. Demand a citation, get him on the stand, and have him state under oath that no, he did not measure my speed with any approved device, and therefore the stop was illegal.

The deal is this.... they've been given "Authority" along w/ a gun/badge which makes them think they can do anything the want and for the most part, they can! Deciding to call their bluff is a tough one b/c whether you know the LAW better than cop or not doesn't really matter. You will be taking the, "RIDE". We can/do argue w/ cops but at the end of the day are you willing to go to jail & get your car impounded as they show you their authority? They don't have to know the law, you see them adding/stacking additional charges onto people & saying, "Let the Court sort it out" ! That means they do not know nor do they care about the Law. They slap you hard & let the Prosecutor decide how much to break off in your arse? I hate it & can't afford the "RIDE" but I always like to watch the sH!Te sHOW ! That cop is a Dick!!! Wow! A cop did the tapping on my classic dodge Polara with is RING on his finger on top of my door!!! He was a Dick from the very beginning. He comes up to me after stopping me, and doesn't say a thing. So i didn't say anything either. He then huffs,,, turns his head and puts out his hand! As in "your supposed to hand over your license to me!" And of couse i didn't. It got worse but not like your cop. But he did give me a ticket. When i went to court, that was worse than a bad joke! It was bad! And they screwed with me, because i had put in a complaint on tje officer! Long story short, the corrupt judge raised the fine! Because he said he could, and said because i complained about that Dick cop.

Cop was acting on a whole bunch of behavior suppositions, type of car, place, time of day, etc., that are wrong. He's not being objective with the traffic stop.

I was pulled over for driving past a drug house. Not stopping, just going by. Its a short cut i used frequently. The cop grabbed my key ring and slide it across the hood to his partner. I protested but thier contempt was obvious. We were released and sent on our way but not before the cop slide the keys across the roof to me. I went back to the so called drug house and told the lady what happened. There is nothing a cop cant make worse.

Id just love to know where they find assholes like this punk cop. There has to be plenty of decent, honest candidates to choose from and We end up with punks with huge egos and something to prove that hide behind a badge. SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE !
