What show is this
In the title
You cut the life is a storm speech the best scene in the whole movie..noooo
Absolutely love this! I can't stop rewatching.
Awesome edit! One of my favorites. This movie is so underrated. ❤❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏
I was very fortunate to be an extra in the movie at the Powerscourt House scene when the hot air balloon came down I remember it was a very long scene and I only finished that shoot at 7 am in the morning after arriving on the set at 3 pm the previous day .Then I had to go back into Dublin and shoot the very last scene in a mini series I was in with Jonathan Reece Myers who became well known playing Elvis and Tudor's and Mission Impossible 1 I think.
I remember this scene from years ago. Thanks for the upload. It was Jim in one of his best roles
learn lessons from literature.. these tactics are still used today of punishing the innocents today of course methods have changed its all online internet tech but people are hijacking id's phone contacts e mails and writing stealing those id's i have same person pretending to be my sister so full of toxicity venom from 2010 in my first gmail account, on Facebook somebody from Google? or till dec 2023 still sending me hate messages and hate mails from blacks which never stopped. from 'Facebook'.. calling me all sorts of names..loser, go back to your country, mental, the same person who wreaked havoc on my head 2023 spending millions to have it done... and yes leaving a trail of who this venom is, all seems to be " traveling" some mad dogs journey somewhere... even on 'whats app' and Reason? no idea..
"Ah! He burned the letter."
This was once one of my favorite movies, until this man showed himself to be utterly evil in real life. I WILL NEVER WATCH THIS AGAIN!
While I love this version of the story, I prefer the version in the book where he pretty much bankrupts Danglars and Villefort caushing them to run away penniless and the other to go insane and causes Fernand to shoot himself after his wife and son abandon him due to his actions...but I guess those don't make entertaining cinema
"Perhaps you should get out more." Such a great line in a movie filled with great lines, wonderful actors, and awesome fun fight scenes. Truly overlooked, yet still stands up.
First 5 minutes: The honest are always being punished.
Jim should have got an award. A great actor.
He shouldn't havel killed his ememy. Just made him suffer lie he dud Vilefort
Love this movie!!!
....This will be my ring....🥹...❤
Making an edit, will post on @x3ttt. Great stuff brother
Read the book. It is far better.
I liked this adaptation - it made an excellent trade-off of being mostly true to the original source while at the same time compressing a story of enormous complexity into the scale of a movie.
It is not underestimated. Replacing the issues of power, greed and social status reduced the story to a simple romantic adventure. More interesting and complex characters such as Villefort and Danglars had their participation reduced.
Maybe it's because I saw the 1975 version of the movie first or because of Cazeviel's Q-Anon descent, but I prefer the Richard Chamberlain version. Just my opinion.
What's the series
Once upon a Time
Once upon a time
My XwIfe will never say I dont need a ring instead she will say you gonna need to get me a bigger ring. The biggest if possible. She believe thats the only way to prove my love for her. That why she got the title "Xwife" soon after hahaha
the book was 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000x better
"Kings and pawns.... emperors and fools." LOVE this movie! Thanks!
He is so handsome
Christo please help me. 😢.
What an awful crop job of an edit. Completely butchered some of the best scenes in the movie.
??? This isn't how this seem played out in the book! He didn't know who turned him in, nor did he have the letter on him. Did they even read the book before writing the screenplay?
Caviezel is truly a sublimely understated and soulful performer of authentically nuanced composure, command, confliction, conviction, compassion, control and cadence. At once evocatively earthy and yet also elusively ethereal. Which is probably why he was able to portray the depths of Christ's poise so deftly. Uniquely rare talent for embuing characters with a subtle sensitivity simultaneously with great resonance. There's a certain stir and a searching within his stoic stillness and silence. That's a lot more difficult to convey than just blubbering and blathering, like most actors of accolade.
6:10 Truman's sudden realization that every paid actor knows his name
Why did he burn the letter and imprison Caviezel?
Guy Pearce too…this is epic!
Luis Guzman is the greatest !
Full movie
Jesus and Superman, together in one movie
Rick wearing the hell out of that black uniform.
This a great example of a film of what the kind of man you are and who you should become: Nice guys are on bench- soft, meek, harmless (young Dantes). Bad boys play the field- greed, users, women (Guy Pierce). GOOD-MEN leave the bench and field and go into the world-even if they don’t want to go through adversaries, developing skills, confidence, stoicism (The count of Monte Cristo). In the end- nice guys don’t finish last…they just never started; Bad Boys later crash and burn or become villains; GOOD MEN develop nice qualities but FIERCE like a lion. Gentlemen: Choose to become the COUNT.
The antagonists can triumph. Watch Mark Antony and Cleopatra with Charlton Hestion which is based on Shakespeare's play,
My favorite movie of all time.
I loved this movie until Caviezle revealed himself to be a Trump-loving, evangelical, bigot. He is a piece of crap of a human being
Luis Guzman is a timelessly great actor. He has a tremendous range from comedy to tragedy
Decent film but too many parts of the book were changed. Even the dialogue
“Don’t rob me of my hate, it’s all I have” 😮💨
2nd best, his best was OUTLANDER
Greetings...!
I forgot Cavil was the son in this movie.
Forgot how phenomenal this film was. Thank you algorithm.
Today is no different…..!? Perhaps you should go out more ❤😂
I read the unabridged nearly 20 years ago, then enjoyed this movie sometime later... was totally caught up in Dantes' story ❤
