This has to be one of the best interpretations of this very hard Verdi aria. The color and melancolic tone are so right for this role. And you can tell he feels and understands the emotions and subtext of aria compleatly. To add to that that round, dark, bel canto line of legato, amazing dynamics...It is magical. I belive that the has no competition today what so ever...Bravo!!!❤❤❤

My favourite part of this performance is the pauses around 4:52-5:48. It is so counterintuitive for a singer to take their time and feel the music like that, even in the pauses. When you're up there in silence, it seems to take an eternity from the stage, so most singers will rush it. It really makes the aria so much deeper and more reflective like this, and proves that he is a really wonderful artist. Edit: of course the singing is fantastic! ...That kind of goes without saying with Amartuvshin Enkhbat - bravissimo!
