Not sure if you've learned this since watching this episode, but Ken Takakura was a famous actor in Japan, kind of like the Japanese version of Clint Eastwood. He looked a lot like the guy who dumped Momo in the beginning. Okarun just happens to have the exact same name. So glad you're watching the dub, it's so underrated!

There will definitely be more seasons, as at the end of episode 6 we've only reached chapter 14 of the manga - there are currently 174 chapters out and it's still getting new chapters every Monday.

Normal people cant see the transformation of Okarun, so it is funny to think that during the scene where he heard the rumor, those guys just saw how he suddenly got bold and weirdly strong when he still looked the same to them. Now imagine him looking normal whenever he is transformed lmao.

To all my fellow "My Hero Academia" fans in the Los Angeles county. As you already know that next year will be the premiere for the FINAL season of "My Hero Academia ", next year will be the craziest and best year in the last five years. I ask and I plead to all of you to stand up and take action in order for next to be the best year for the sake of My Hero Academia. I ask and encourage all of you to write a strongly worded message to the organization that runs the Los Angeles anime expo and ask if they can not only seriously consider to bring down the director and Japanese voice cast as special guest for anime Expo with hopefully an autograph session, but if they could as well consider and reach out to the creator and franchise Kohei Horikoshi and the very composer of the score My Hero Acadamia series Yuki Hayashi as well to become special guest. And to make things even more epic, they should try to have Yuki Hasashi perform a concert at Anime Expo with the scores from My Hero Acadamia Series. If we can convince and get the staff to make this happen next year it will be an event of epic proportions and an event that will be talked about for ages to come. I ask you all again who hold the same love in their hearts for this franchise as I do, will you please help me in this endeavor.

14:08 It's Yakisoba Bun probably. When Seiko spoke about ghosts and Youkai rules I had thought them completely arbitrary and only mildly considered it. But the way Turbo Granny described the affect his nuts coated in her Spiritual Energy would have on humans gave me slight pause. She didn't say the balls would GIVE humans powers, she said that it would ACTIVATE the Spiritual Power IN the human. Even the way she describes how easy it would be to see humans after picking it up is creepy, like being a regular human makes it somehow HARD to see humans? So basically depending on the person who picks them up, one of two things happens. 1. The person is a latent psychic or person with potential to wield Spiritual Power and they gain abilities and can see Spirits and Youkai. 2. The person has no powers but instead is holding powerful energy bait that evil spirits would love to eat.

Honestly, for as monstrous as Touya has become, I feel like it’s only fair for the family to be the ones to ultimately save him from getting himself killed completely. And it was just in the nick of time too, since Endeavor had already given up on him yet again. There’s a lot of complicated feelings happening here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the whole family to end up on the battlefield, but hey, it’s finally time for Touya to get the attention he’s deserved all this time. Well done Shoto!

At 15:22 shows that He really is suffering through his defeat knowing that this was not what he really wanted and now he’s going to keep living with whatever Time he has left hearing the apologies of his father and the share of emotion of words of his family which to Toya/dabi is way beyond too late. This was an amazing episode. The whole Todoroki family arc is definitely one of the highlights of this entire story.

So lets do a quick recap here the main plot of this show is going on a treasure hunt to get our boy Okarun's family jewels back...in any other anime I'd say that was BS but this show is so absurd you kinda naturally believe it without needing any more convincing

We actually got two names this episode, the name of the mean girl and the name of regular grandma! Regular grandma is named Seiko and mean girl is Aira. Dandadan has got nerves of steel to forgo regular introductions. Now that I look back on it NOBODY in this anime has done regular introductions accept maybe Ken, every other name is said by somebody else and if you blink ya miss it. It's so casual its frustrating. Also its gotta be big dick because there's no other way he say and didn't notice he was no longer at risk of squishing his own balls.

I love the messages this show conveys, incredibly deep, especially recently, season 7 is LIT, 🔥

The thing about Turbo Granny and all ghosts as regular grandma says is that as long as you don't enter their territory nothing happens. The implication is that if Ken had never entered her and the Bound Spirits tunnel she'd have never attacked him. This is a tiny bit different than real life lore, because "Turbo Granny" is a real Japanese Youkai. She was a monster that would challenge boys to a race and if you lost she ate your dick basically. So Dandadan lore is very different because she always showed up at where girls were murdered. Well I guess keyword is "powerless" murdered girls. The moment Momo awakens her Chi Turbo Granny attacks her and tries to eat her to steal that power for herself. While she feels bad about girls being irrationally murdered she still technically an evil spirit. I do love this part about the show, how it doesn't give concrete answers about good and bad. Because while the show doesn't shout it in your face, Momo's face is shown crying after having killed Turbo Granny and receiving an explanation from regular grandma because she realized WHY Turbo Granny showed up to save her in episode 1.

You missed an after-credits scene! Also I adore how they're leaning into their own explanation for how ghosts work in this setting. The whole point of playing "tag" with Turbo Granny is that they auto-lose if they fight the combined ghost amalgamation of the Bound Spirit + Turbo Granny. Regular grandma was basically implying that Turbo Granny on her own is a nuisance but something Momo and Ken by themselves can handle. So then imagine how powerful the Bound Spirit must be, how much farther up above nuisance it must be.

What's worse is knowing that when they were showing that scene with Bakugo talking to All Might he had already been killed. So those were truly his last thoughts.

I could be completely wrong about this and just telling myself this is what it is.. but ever since I first watched the episode when Deku calms down and powers up again I almost want to say that he manifested blackwhip around his neck almost to resemble how Aizawa wears the binding cloth around his neck. Like giving homage to his teacher who has taken care of him time and time again 😭🙏🏽 Like I said I could be completely wrong about this but this is what I’m telling myself it is 😂

We know Twice's clones are unaffected by Erasure but conversely we also know that killing the one with the original Quirk Double makes their clones lose shape and fall apart as seen when Hawks killed Twice.

I wonder how long it will take for season 8 to come out, I hope they do justice to the fact that the Manga was in a lot of trouble at that time and a lot of content was cut or rushed
