I agree that Regroup is broken. You can combine it with the Web Warrior package to really do stupid things. Good series!

I still play Drang occasionally & Nebula once in a blue moon on standard & Ronan once a year if I think my deck is too good. Collector 1 is just anti fun as far as I am concerned & Collector 2 is fine but the gimmick wore thin. Hard to Ignore is a staple in an archetype & Clobber is an easy fit into a most any aggression deck even if it's super boring. Sonic Rifle is a good shout. I like about 3 confuse per deck pass as a baseline & Sonic Rifle can be two of them. I'm not so hot on Leading Blow & Dive Bomb is great but more MP, probably in my 5 because it such fun though. Regroup is another MP card where I am told it is pretty close to broken in the right circumstances. Solo it's a gamble to even pay off on top of the tempo hit. I'd give honourable mentions to Think Fast & Rocket ally. They are both great but so limited in the decks they fit into.

Slow to reply as nothing green & good came out this wave. I think by the end of the wave Justice was solidly the second strongest aspect in Solo as represented by Skilled Investigator, Clear the Area & Multi-Tasking. It's potent but so very narrow in its good stuff. Meanwhile Leadership fleshed out a number of archetypes leading me to say it was not just the best aspect it was also the second & third best. I have Stinger to represent swarms, Goliath for Big Dudes & Ronin for Voltron. There are multiple different swarms you can make broadly stay alive or chump block a lot. There are also many different allies you can stack up with gear. Mighty Avengers is not fully operational just yet.

Hi. Suggestion, for tierlist like this, hopefully there is a way to show the cards in bigger size/show the text. Its quite difficult to remember what they actually do. Either way, nice podcast. Its a nice topic especially in connection with Face the Past card.

Those Iceman lists look cool! I've been playing him perfect defense but I wanna try these lists now haha. Nova J made expert MTS a breeze. Paired him with a Spiderman L list to boost his stats and get tons of readies.

This was great to see! Interesting picks too - Toe to Toe was definitely a huge surprise. This is tough for me as I wasn't playing when there was only the core set/wave 1, and my mind has immediately gone to Wakanda Forever and Avengers Mansion which aren't even aspect cards. But they are very "iconic" for me from when I first started. Drop Kick - A stun AND card draw AND damage? Back before steady and stalwart were a twinkle in the designers' eyes, this card felt so good everywhere and could never fail to be fun. Unless you didn't have enough physicals... Unflappable - The card that really makes Protection want to actually protect is timeless Hall of Heroes - This card makes dealing with minions more engaging. You're not just clearing a problem, you're building towards a reward Med Team - Realizing how much better it was on allies was very memorable and opened up a whole new way to look at it. Also still gets you loved by players everywhere in multiplayer today Make the Call - Any ally, any time, so much flexibility Sorry Justice...

For my first year of playing, I house-ruled that I could shuffle Shadows of the Past back into the deck and redraw to avoid the nemesis 😂 Now, I play oh expert and don’t blink an eye to most (if any nemeses).

Really enjoying the video, but the audio is rather imbalanced and it's making it harder to listen to. KennedyHawk is so quiet I have to turn it up to where I feel like Hone is yelling at me.

The most recent iteration of the rulebook and a ruling quoted from Caleb states attachments and side schemes are fair game for calling in actions. Any encounter card outside of obligations are fair game it seems.

Why didn't you record all the scenarios from the whole game it's really helpful to understand the mechanics of Villans

I personally like Indomitable as a safety net. I will throw a few in for x-23 protection deck for the few times that I negate all damage and I'm not able to ready.

Brilliant episode, hoping to get some expansion packs for christmas so I can build these decks.

How do you feel about “Bad manners Kick course” instead of guard point? I seen this list but that was the card choice. Do you think the extra card cost is too much compared to the leaving up one Don?
