1997 FXDWG First Start. Just picked this dyna up. Needs a lot to make it road worthy. Just wanted to hear it run before I start working on it. Will try and post videos as I go. Can't wait to ride this bike!

Forgot to mention, pipes look familiar to ones sold by Cycle Shack back in the day, but there also was a ton of pipe makers in the 80’s& 90’s pumping out pipes!
I must say, it sounds pretty healthy, I’d be jonesing to get her out for some saddle time!
@@springersadventures7654 yessir, I can not wait to ride this bike! Probably won't start tearing into anything until after the holidays, but after that it's full steam ahead! Planning a ride down to Ocala towards the end of January. It's been decades since I have been to the Don Garlits museum so really looking forward to it. Who knows, maybe make the ride on a wide glide if I can get my antique behind in gear!
Great looking bike for an easy project. The lower legs would have been polished from the factory. The seat appears factory, Harley started using plastic pans in the’70s, pretty impressed the plastic isn’t cracked or broken. I did a video on cleaning the tank about a year & half ago, exactly the same process , learned it from my shop teacher in high school. Looking forward to watching it come together!
