Is there yet a way to import another photo of the actual person, so that the missing information in an extremely blurred photo can be matched a lot more accurately ? A bit like Refacing but in a different way . . . I’m sure this will happen, I just can’t find anything that does this . . . Does anyone know ? Cheers

This is not upscalling It generates new images "inspired" on the low res one. If you ran an "upscaled" photo against the original in a face recognition algorithm, it would fail.

Don't you think that the class collision problem could be solved using graph colouring, rather than clustering?

  • @dhruvpatel4948

How different is this than CSGAN from Bora et al. other than doing projected gradient descent on the surface of Gaussian? I think they (and many other follow up works) have explored exact same idea of optimising in the latent space of generative model to solve inverse problem.

Hey Sachit, Should I expect that training a network with the L0 loss in a standard supervised setup with LR-HR image pairs provides a crispy output? Or the images would still look somehow averaged as in the case of L2?

Awsome work!!! Is it possible to export an array of possible images? So that the person knowing the person on the picture can choose the "best" one?
