I am so impressed that you have the same Husky tool boxes I use under my layout ! Just before Christmas 2024 I purchased 10 of those units ! They aren’t the best but they sure helped me organize all my trains, hardware and tools ! I now have 19 in total plus 6 tool chests that are the top mates to the bottoms but I have them on shelves. I thought I was looking at my own shop in the video 🤣. I can’t stand being disorganized 🤣. You are so cool, I’m subscribing !
Lol thanks I gotta ask what have you laid down in the drawers to protect your trains?
Jason nice layout you have going there. Tip: I use magnets in my lift up to lock it into alignment. clamp the lift out to the baseboard and drill a hole through the lift out and into the support and super glue a couple of magnets to both sides. no problems in over a year. Mike
That's a hell of a layout for your first go at it. Happy new year!
@CraftedJR thanks!! Happy new year!!
Looks good! Just subscribed tto your channel. Happy New Year!
@thecnwmondovilinepaulscota7304 thanks!!!! Happy new year!!
Jason, Happy New Year. Thanks for the update. Really nice layout. Thanks for sharing. Suggestion on your life outs. Paint all surfaces, and it will reduce potential warping.
@stevenhause3626 thanks Happy new year
great video thank you * Happy Rails *
@harleymemphis9190 thanks...Happy new year
Doing some great work Jason…Happy New Year…I’ve got a similar lift out connection…once everything was lined up, I clamped the boards and line drill through the connection, glued dowels to the permanent piece…always lines up without issue when installing…
@georgiasunbelt ill look and see how much i got on each side that dowel rod trick may just work!! Thanks happy new year
@@jasoncoleman1993 Anthony thats a good tip but mine is better. lol.
@georgiasunbelt that what I'm gonna do, easiest and will always line up, thanks Happy new year!!!
Cool update Jason you have been busy. Happy New Year!
@grandparails8858 thanks Happy new year
I really enjoy your layout tours! What is your minimum radius on your curves? Keep up the good work! I hope the ac folks make good on their product!
@johnhumphrey4216 min radius on the main is 30 inches, thanks alot!!
You’re doing a great job, Jason. Keep up the good work.
Looks great, Jason. I’m looking forward to the how I do on the rock work.
@@derekalexander4030 lol....thanks

Mrcool needs to install a NEW DIY MINI Cooler. 2,500 dollars can be spent on the Layout. Mike HO Aust
@mikehumphrey7413 they should warranty the inside unit and a new line set but yes 2500 on the layout would be awesome!!...lol
Nice update. What brand/model is your caboose repair facility out of curiosity.
It's a pikestuff kit.
@@jasoncoleman1993 Many thanks!
Your making progress. Nothing wrong with bouncing around doing different things on the layout it keeps it from getting boring. Yes, they should honor their parts warranty.
thanks alot, yeah i dont want to get burnt out on one certian thing...just bounce around!
Awesome video keep them up thanks for sharing

In reference to your issue regarding installing lighting "inside" your building flats. The TH-camr "Toy Man Television" (www.youtube.com/@ToyManTelevision) did a segment about that (sorry cannot remember which one though) but if you comment regarding that he will respond in kind; he's a very helpful individual.
Thanks I follow him and ill check it out.
Looking great!
@@KandWRailroader thanks

Thanks!
Awesome video make sure you like and subscribe
Nice job. I'm impressed.
Thank you
I've never seen blue fascia!
First time for everything.lol
@@jasoncoleman1993 LOL. Yep. I've currently debating what color to use on mine. In many cases, the color compliments the scenery without drawing attention from the layout and scenery. For example, Rob Spanglers wp8thsub has desert like scenery in the spring so he has a muted grayish green. I'm planning desert scenery west of Grande Junction CO so thinking maybe a toup. or maybe black.
For a first that's stunning. Reckon if i attempted something like that I'd be divorced real quick.
Lmao!!!
Incredible looking layout your building (scenery & structures)…congrats on the inaugural run…Happy New Year
Thanks!
I would love to see your process of the mountains you have. I have seen the video of drywall compound you used. Maybe next time you are carving your mountains, you could film some of it.
I could probably make that happen Ron.
Such an incredible job !! I really enjoy your progress 😍 Happy New Year 🎉
Thanks Ron, Happy new year!!
