Is there any ond scan tools for a 95 mitsubishi 3000? All i can find are the 96 and up.
A useful video, but for those who have a test device like this one and just need a quick review about hook-up - fast fwd. to about 5 min 35 sec. Also note the wiring colors used by whoever built the device in this video are contrary to std. electrical practice. The ground port #1 should be black; not green and the test port #3 in this case, should be green/yellow; not black. The power wire should be red; not white. I have an 86 420sel theres no port or have I missed something because theres nothing there where it should be but I have no spark coil is good ezl good crank sensor is good any idea what have missed
You've missed that there is no port until '87. I know this comment is old, but maybe it will help someone.
So. I bought this tool, and I've got only a 9 pin socket on my 1992 300SL. It looks as though I can't use this according to the provided codes from the seemingly incomplete DVD file (btw, aprilla is pronounced apriya). Any recommendation to those with the 9 pin socket? This is what the DVD says about the 9 pin socket... "The 9-pole Diagnostic Connector is used on earlier model vehicles. Pin 2 can display On/Off ratio fault codes (1986 and later), RPM and Lambda sensor values. Various On/Off ratio Meters are available that provide access to this type of diagnostic connector." So was I lead to believe this tool would work, and it won't pay for itself after all?

I notice that you have to have it click on the battery ...but my socket isn't close to my battery at all so will that still work?
