Street Hondas Going To The Tail Of The Dragon CHD9
This is my friends and I first time attending Classic Hondas On The Dragon. It's their 9th annual event, and this is one of the best events I've ever attended. You don't waste time waiting in line. It's a bunch of street cars that actually get to enjoy it on the road. The road being the Tail of The Dragon. 318 curves and 11 miles of the best scenic road in the world. Why did I wait so long to ride the Dragon?! They put on an excellent event, and it's definitely going to the yearly list.

After sending my fuel injectors out for cleaning and flowing with Sin Performance, he informed me that one of the injectors was flowing about 15% less than the other 3. I made the decision to purchase all 4 new injectors, and it was a great decision. We also ran into some leaks since most of these parts hasn't moved in over 16 years. Dope car! Been many years since I had my 84 Civic 1.3 Hatch. Fully gutted and stiffened chassis, re carpeted the interior with plastics installed again. Only 2 seats and harnesses reinstalled 1.5 DX block with CRX 1.5 SI head heavily worked with stainless valves and Gude Racing cam, Mugen header, custom lightened steel flywheel with Luk performance clutch, CRX Si gearbox with short shifter. Don't remember what wheels I used on the front but I used cheap Nankang tires for summer and Bridgestone Blizzak tires for winter. They also stuck good in the dry from the softer compound. The back wheels were Civic HF wheels and cheap skinny tires together they weighed 12 lbs. Had many good times in that car from racing WRXs when they first came out to getting a $1750 "warning" from the State Trooper for excessive speed. Very unassuming cars that are very light and can easily hide massive power to weight ratio. Clean car brother!👊

After covid, Z was not a priority for production. It is odd that we don’t see them though.

Holler at me next time you want to do some late night cruises, told LJ that same! Hell, let's fit the GReddy Type S I got sitting around on the EP for nostalgia!
I think we can do a dual BOV. I love those OBS GReddy Type S. Competition Clutch Stage 4, 6 puck sprung…Tennessee Clutch rebuilt the clutch and they added extra bracing around the spring because the spring housing tends to break. I have a 9.5lbs flywheel, and I may switch to the stock flywheel next time. Cool. I’ll keep that in mind for cruising.
