A Meditative Process | Watercolor Painting | In the Studio with Jan
I got commissioned to do a watercolor painting of a beautiful house for a father's day present and it was a very meditative process so I thought I would film the making of it and try to create a video that conveyed that meditative feeling so when your watching it you can have a bit of a zen moment. Let me know if you enjoyed this new format in the comments.

Those are gigantic patches of moss you’re taking.. almost the entire patch… not at ALL sustainable 🤦🏻‍♀️ smh. For someone who loves moss so much, you seem fine with decimating the wild moss population. Usually people take a small inconspicuous 5” by 5” or less section and propagate it… I think you should delete this video as it promotes very irresponsible foraging practices. Imagine if the over 3k people who watched your video were inspired to do exactly as you did... the results would be catastrophic

Do you just spray mist them to water them. Or do you soak them every so often and let the water drain out? Do they ever need transplanted, do the get root bound?

Envious of you living in an are where there is such an abundance of well-grown moss. I found some low grown 'generic' moss behind a building in the city. I've been keeping it in a pebble tray with distilled water- one of those little 9" x 4" plastic school supply boxes with a lid. It's been growing pretty good with a little spritz of VERY dilute liquid all-purpose fertilizer once a week. I'll put it in a terrarium when it's grown out more This video was very soothing to watch and the videography excellent. Thanks!

I’m not sure at all if this is ethically ok to take moss like this, on such a large scale!… also I’m imagining of every person you have inspired to do the same. 😢can you see the great bare patches you are leaving behind, and imagine all the creatures that are using this as their own habitat. If everyone collected on this scale… you are all adding to an already declining natural habitat, if you love nature so much, like you say… how it brings you calm, then go visit the places,, sit in calm peace, then as we say here in the Uk …. Go home, and leave no trace
