If you haven't you should really give the RBR rally school a run through. It's a big buggy, but will teach you the fundamentals

A couple of points. To be fair, RBR was and is one of the in my mind hardest rallygames out there. Dirt and the others are more arcade where you just bump back on the road with no damage. But you can learn a lot from doing the course in Rally school in the game. Try it, to get some of the techniques. AND use your handbrake before you start your stage..

ive played RBR for a while, Id suggest using slower cars, its much more fun as you don't die as often and you can still do some cool stunts ;)

I feel you! Same shit happens to me when I play dirt rally 2.0 with some group b monster like lancia delta or audi quattro. I cant even begin to proces fast enough what happens on the screen on higher speeds, let alone drive correctly :D
