Hunting Adventures at Nundle State Forest NSW
Join Zac and Joey on a 3 day hunt in the NSW State Forest Nundle. It's their first time at the state forest so what can they expect? Lots of km's hiking, spectacular views, freezing cold weather and a campfire each night - most likely 😉
Have any suggestions which NSW State Forest we should try next? Let us know in the comments.

    I thought bow hunters have designated areas away from rifle hunters.

    The answer is "yes" there are plenty of deer, pigs, goats, foxes and rabbits in the state forests of NSW. However, it takes time and repeated visits to work out game trails and patterns of behaviour that will result in putting an "pest" species on the ground. Before you all ask, yes, I've seen and shot antlered bucks in the state forests. You just have to put the time in, along with risking losing a few trails cams.

    FYI in NSW state forest it is illegal to target practice. you can only shoot at animals, no trees, not targets. I know its stupid as you have just travelled with your bow and you need to check it but thats the rules.

    • @geoffreymcewan6025
      @geoffreymcewan6025 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know right it's a stupid rule. I've even asked dpi about it. I'd prefer to be sighted in and make an ethical kill knowing I'm on pint by hitting a few targets. Dpi said what happens when walk away no body knows. They even admitted what I was saying was correct. And there should be a clause where sighting in for achers.

    @ZacandEbsAdventures 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Thanks! When you are hunting you have to wear them so you don’t shoot each other. We think the animals can see them cause they are super reflective but they shouldn’t be able to see the orange colour :)

  • @jessicaczisz5731
    @jessicaczisz5731 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    this is awesome! whats with the orange hats? i would think its so you guys keep track of eachother but can the animals also see them?

    • @liam9b9t93
      @liam9b9t93 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Most animals can't see bright orange, so they wear it so other hunters can easily see each other for safety reasons.
