What do you like about this ship the most? And what do you think about destiel ?

@@ZHANUKI there’s not enough words to explain, but I’ll try. Sastiel: at first it was genuinely bc Sam is my absolute favorite character in the show and it was like right after I started seeing the appeal of Destiel in s5 that my mind went what about Sam. And looked up that people do ship them. So I started paying more attention to them. I love how protective they are of each other, how no matter how many times Castiel seems to “fuck up,” Sam has never looked at him any differently and is the only one that can forgive Castiel. Sam has more or less been on Castiel’s “side” on things and has actually been a friend to Castiel. Season 5-6 is such a good start for them, I mean Castiel was going out of his way to protect Sam and plus he pulled Sam out of hell from the CAGE all by himself, now yeah he forgot about Sam’s soul, but it’s the fact he was able to do it at all alone without dying compared to how many angels went and died to save Dean from hell and he wasn’t even in the most guarded part of hell. Sam was the first person Castiel ever attempted to hug (s6x12) and the first person he does actually hug back (s9x11). Season 9 episode 11 is such a good episode that really shifts their dynamic. Plus they end up coparenting Jack from seasons 13-15. It was adorable. (Sorry this was long, it’s hard to form why I love them when there’s just too many reasons) What I think about Destiel: I went into watching spn thinking my favorite would be Dean and Destiel, but I fell for Sam. Seasons 4-6 I think are okay for Destiel, like I could get behind the ship in those seasons. But then season 7 happened, “Nobody cares that you’re broken Cas!” -Dean. That quote and how Dean was acting toward crazy Cas forever made me wonder, how do people ship this? And that was season 7. Season 8 is an exception mostly, but it’s after 7 so eh. Dean kept getting worse with Castiel in the later seasons, he’s always degrading him and is never understanding. Now don’t get me wrong, I know Dean loves Castiel in his own way, just not in love type of way. I am someone who believes Castiel is in love with Dean, it’s a part of Cas, but it’s not all of Cas. I hate the confession scene in s15x18. Everything about Cas being reduced to only being about/for Dean pissed me off. Bc Dean is not the fucking reason for everything that makes Cas, Cas. Sam had a play in that, Meg had a play, even Bobby, etc. So like to hear Cas say he cares about Jack bc of Dean??! Like fuck that bro, Dean mostly hated Jack. I mean come on “Jack’s not family” in season 15 episode 17, close to the end of the show, so like yeah, I see Destiel as they were presented in the show, and it’s not healthy for a relationship to come out of it.

although l have never watched supernatural yet, l already knew that people seem to be obsessed with destiel for long time and l think there is a reason why. l think people just like the top complex Relationship between two characters . Because if the relationship is too good, then it got bored and people got bored of it. But if the relationship is complicated, then they like it more. At least s what l think. And why does almost half of people hate Sam so much? And why don’t care about his suffering and trauma?

@@ZHANUKI Let me add something for Sam and Cas really quick: as an outline for sastiel they could be seen as the enemies to lovers format. (I’m a kicker for that) The boy with the Demon blood (Sam) and the Fallen Angel destined to be enemies, but ended up having one of the most beautiful relationships in the show. There’s actually so many things for Sam and Cas that makes me wonder why they are not so popular. They have such good tropes, and such a good, almost pure relationship on top of that. Destiel fans, not all of them, but probably a lot, bc there’s a lot out there that never even seen the show that I believe ship them in a more fanon type. I hear some of them give Dean, Sam’s personality. Almost like Sam treated Castiel right, and they wished it was Dean who did so instead. Which don’t get me wrong like I said I can see the appeal in seasons 4-6. After that Dean and Castiel’s relationship is so toxic and I know my fair share of toxic ships that I ship personally. But there’s one thing I’ve noticed about my ships they all have this understanding among each other that honestly Destiel doesn’t have. Dean never understands anything that Castiel does, he rather yell at him than to understand. I love Dean, but Castiel deserves better. As for why people hate Sam, I genuinely don’t understand why they do, bc if they’re Dean stans, which a lot of them are, it goes against their favorite character, bc Dean puts Sam first over everything. They probably hate Sam bc of the demon blood addiction and Sam not searching for Dean when he was in purgatory. There’s other reasons, but I can’t really think of them at the top of my head. I just know that a lot of things Sam does irritates them. (A side note here, I kind of wondered if Jared (Sam’s actor) and Misha (Castiel’s actor) were able to not prank each other and mess around too much that the scenes they could have given us would further move their relationship up. I’m honestly someone who believes that if Castiel confessed to Sam at the end of the show instead of Dean, that Sam would have said I love you back. Sam was such a queer coded character throughout the entire show, but that’s just my opinion)
