Quite litterally the best dci trumpet solo ever. This dude was marching while screaming nearly the entire solo. And there is so much pure power. These guys really must have been something else. 1:33

Man, do I miss the Velvet Knights...that Float/Rennick line was crazy too. I remember being disappointed that they didn't make finals this year. Unfortunately, they had serious visual issues. Otherwise, they would have easily been in finals. I heard they had some issues this year with saboteurs in management but I don't know nothin. We really need a corps like this today. I can only imagine the parodies they could do. Of course, the way people are today, they would probably get "cancelled" and banned from DCI.

I can’t watch this enough. My brothers were both Crossmen. Once in always in. Bob has done so much in his life for them. A legacy my parents and I will always cherish. Old Bonz don’t die!. ,

I’ve watched this show more times than I can count, and only NOW am I starting to realise the true genius of George Zingali’s visual programme. Holy cow. The symbolism that’s shot through the entire show isn’t immediately obvious but it makes sense now.

First Circle was my favorite part of this show to march. Still can't believe how much I disliked this show back then, only to have fallen deeply in love with it now.

Oh how I miss small corps. Being on the west coast back in the early 90's, I always looked forward to seeing the Mandarins and Vanguard Cadets every summer.

My brother and I played with the Kenosha, WI Kingsmen for many years, in the 60's era. The Best Of Times ! He played with old St Pats for 1 season. This past summer 2024, I needed to see the ANG base in MKE and saw that The Pioneer buses and property are still there.

lol one of our sops joined the corps at age 22.

You'd have to stand down field from these guys because they stink.

The activity, started to really decline, it was the end of a great drum and bugle Corps era eventually it turned into a marching band competition as it is today former member of the Long Island sunrises❤❤😢😮

50th anniversary year. close, but no finals until 10 years later. wind was whipping through rich stadium from left to right, severely impacting the volume of the horn line. sounded okay on this recording, but live it was bad. proud to have worn that uniform. go BAC

Thanks for this. I'm the contra solo at the beginning. I was trying so hard not to laugh as our contra tech said "BIG ORGAN!" just loud enough so that I heard him. Damned near missed my entrance, but I love him for that.
