Coding Interviews Cracked: Solving Algorithms
I would hardly say "git unites us all" - lots of big companies don't use git, Facebook for example uses Mercurial, Google uses Piper, etc.
Wikipedia is an unreliable source.
🌳🌲🌴Great Short🌳🌲🌴
No no no i hate this video lol i hate trees
Thank you so much for these. Really useful and great to learn this stuff from someone else who isnt a man in such a male dominated field
Don’t give up making videos!
I love these videos !!!
subbed!

This is a wonderful video and some great info
Great video!
Thank you for your research and info lol. I guess i never thought why it is always pre-written in my code. Thanks!
what are those fibonacci tesseracta?
and it is owned by microsoft, microsoft is also a big sponsor of linux
Git is not owned by Microsoft.
@@KaletheQuick github is, they probably also sponsor git and dont allow contributions that are not in line with their interests they already shut down atom open source = controlled by big tech
git is not github
@@elbeta git is controlled by microsoft, they control what can be added to it, the same with linux, microsoft doesnt allow contributions that it does not want
@@rezah336Bruh, do some research
Well done!
But for the millions and millions and millions of developers who are not Linux maintainers git has poor DX
Git is equally difficult to use on any platform.
Quality content
the same tech talk pointed out that branching was not the issue, merging was, and making merging easy was why git won.
Merging is no easier in Git than with SVN. In fact, our SVN worklow was way simpler than anything we've tried with Git.
I love your rings.
what the actual.... using AI video generated characters everywhere... ? or having a really bad lip sync issue...
C'mon, man. The video is barely out of sync. I wouldn't even noticed until read your comment. 🤷🏼♂ And the person is obviously not AI. Why so mean? The production is really nice too. I enjoyed it.
Man, chill out. If AI could create videos of that quality, we’d be living in a different world.
What started as a vague task of “create a video for the JetBrains Academy TH-cam channel” evolved into a weeks-long deep dive into Git, out of which came the scripts for two very different videos! The companion to this one, “A Practical Guide to Git”, explains the technology from the big picture (“what is version control and why is it important?”) to the granular (“how do I make a commit in my IDE?”), and it does this in just five short minutes! You can access it on our channel or as part of our free Git starter pack! jb.gg/academy/yt/free-git-starter-pack 📺 Also… stay tuned for our next video, in which Clara unravels the answer to the question: Is programming actually hard to learn?
Thank you for explaining the memory allocation! Very insightful. I didn't think that C++ could be used for making games, I sort of assumed only C# did that.
Thank you for your kind words! We are happy to hear that! Stay tuned for more workshops and videos in the future :)
thank you for the course

What a beautiful video. Extremely high quality, I would have loved to see this video a couple of years ago when I started learning Git. I really loved all the animations, it was a motivating video

I am a community college Computer Science and IT instructor. Much of this video resonates with my experience with students. I am going to work on a lesson of some sort that addresses these points. Everyone, including me has been at all of these levels at various times. I especially like the reminder to share my perspective. I quite often find answers I really like, but don't say anything. As an instructor, I know how import feedback of any type is. Excellent video!
Thank you for your comment! We appreciate your feedback and happy to know that this livestream was useful for you. You can also visit our page for educators to know more about teaching tools at JetBrains Academy: www.jetbrains.com/pages/academy/teaching/.

Hello, I actually have a problem with this. I have submitted my code scripts many times to get a verdict accepted, but the highest I've gotten is verdict ok, and on the standings, I don't even get any marks. My inputs and outputs match the ones in the questions, too. What can I do, please?
Hi! What contest are you talking about?
Hello! It sounds like you’re facing a challenging situation, but don’t worry-this is a common experience when working on coding problems. Make sure to double-check the problem statement to ensure you’ve understood all the requirements. Sometimes, missing a small detail can lead to a verdict of ‘ok’ rather than ‘accepted.’ Also, don’t hesitate to ask for feedback on coding forums or communities; another pair of eyes can sometimes spot something you might have missed. Additionally, it really makes sense to address this question to the contest organizers via their email or any other official feedback channel so they can check if everything is working properly on their side.
