My Moffa Lorraine is one of the first examples, year 2009. It's an archtop. Specs: - Honey Blonde Spruce top - Black Limba back and sides - Pearwood neck - Ebony tailpiece, fingerboard, pickguard, pickup covers, tone/volume pot - Moffa custom pickups with ebony covers. - Scale length 628mm (24.75") - Neck width at the nut is 44.5mm (1 3/4"). Neck width at the 12th fret is 53mm (2 1/16") - Weight: 2743g (hollowbody, no internal block so very lightweight) - Lower bout width: 13 1/2" - Body depth: 2"

@@Fuhgitboutit Hi, thank you first of all! 🙏🏻 Here the RAT is used without a boost in pre, so the distortion at 9 o'clock, the tone at around 3 o'clock and the volume at 5 o'clock (I speak as if the potentiometer were a clock). The one in the video is a recent RAT 2, but now it uses a 90s RAT with a Motorola microchip 👍🏻 it has even more dynamics 😉

Thanks for the information 🙏. In the video I use the bridge pickup with the tones attenuated, which provides a very particular sound at low frequencies. At the bridge is an HB Seymor Duncan Antiquity

@MelodicDreamers Real! I close the tone a little more than Bill for personal taste. if I open it more the sound is that of Frisell when he used Klein 😉 However you are absolutely right, good ear! 🙌🏻

@@francescolandi70 I like the attitude; much better to be guided by your own ear than simply try to emulate the exact sound of another player, even a tone master like Frisell, who I have no doubt would approve of the decision to be yourself instead of trying to emulate him too closely.

@@TheRound2000 I recommend you read Garzone's books on the subject, they open up a world for you... if you want to tackle TCA in a softer way, there are tutorials on YT that explain the basic rules. The concept is that everyone applies them to their own way of playing, to their own phrasing and to their own taste in articulating the phrases 👍🏻😉

@@briancarvalho9770 Thank you! 🙏🏻🤗 The pickguard was attached with tape, so I removed it very easily myself. The natural color of the wood was lighter when I took it off, because it wasn't exposed to light. after a couple of months the mahogany took on a uniform natural colour. You can see it in the chromology of the videos: the first ones with the Salen are with the pickguard, then you see the difference and the different coloring; as time went on everything became uniform 😉
