Incredible music on the uilleann pipes I’m crying a river
Please suggest the song that I can use to practice this technique with 🙇♀️
...and he did all this without wearing a guitar strap? Amazing. o_O
Strap is the same color as his jacket, but it attaches to the back of his guitar not the top
I love this song 🎵 ❤️
Me too! wonderful 1000% I imagine listening to Lee Ritenour San Juan Sunset afternoon being at Copacabana listening to the waves of the sea ! and drinking your favourite beverage !
Soooo gooooood❤
This lamentation makes me cry.😥 This "heavenly" music penetrates deep into the heart and soul.🙏 Slainte Mhath Davy!❤❤❤
there's something calming and soothing about the way Lee Ritz strokes hus guitars....it gives this chilling feeling.
Extraordinario !!!!!!. Magnífico !.
It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a clothed execution victim to enter the Empire Of Rome...
Almost a year later! Hey, I wanted to find both songs linked together. That's the way I always heard them in the 70's. Personally I don't care if it's misspelled, it's the way it sounds that's important. And as someone below already said, it rocks!!
Groovy Groovy!!!
stunning !!
There is no mention by Led Zeppelin, about Black Mountain Side.
Lee goes brazilian again 🤗🤗🤗wonderful
holy FUCK what a damn master. Thank you allan!
Saw allan play with iou in a barely full london pub in 1980. Not fully appreciated in his own time like, most geniuses
Legendary guitarist
Hace mucho quería esta versión y no la encontraba hasta hoy... Gracias!
Not my cup of tea, but for that kind of "nice jazz" it's skillfully played.
Allan did some cool tapping on that one lick at 1:56
that part sounds exactly like what someone who has a guitar in their hands for the first time plays .. this guy is such a legend <3
@@PepekBezlepek I’m really surprised he did, he’s got a good reach on him
1984
Yes. There are audio recording of Allan shows from 1982, but no video from, what I’ve been able to find. This show is indeed Allan Holdsworth live in Japan 1984, though I’m not sure of the specific date.
Me and my uncle was just looking at this instruction and it's going to take me a LONG time to get used to coordination on the left hand.
You and your uncle should look at a grammar book
Get a practice pad and just build the endurance. It’s there if you are consistent. At first I didn’t like this grip but it’s so useful for playing the snare in a more subtle manner
👌🏻No words.
As simple as that
thx
An absolutely majestic song performed by some of the best musicians from years gone by.... Tom Scott and Eric Gale are sublime. Thanks for posting this.
Damn
Far as I'm concerned,...One of their best tunes,...Didn't get much air-play back in the day...For all the guitar players out there, "double drop D tuning!"
Not McDuff's best album, somewhat irritating sounds throughout, a bit "too commercial" here and there, in other places too close to the kind of elevator music that makes you thankful the building your in has less than 10 floors. But the opening number is quite good. It seems the album is mainly remembered because of the "cover art". Hum... I'll go for something less frivolous....
Or maybe just get the Roy Burns Lou Malin finger control book and work with that! Or maybe get the Charlie Wilcoxson wrist and finger stroke control book and work with that that will give you some concepts For developing fingers just sayin?
Weather report without Wayne Shorter and Billy Cobham on drums! I can't believe this isn't being rereleased. John McLaughlin's on the tune 'Water Lily', very mellow. Billy Cobham, 🤦♂️ this is evidence of his power ,chops, feel groove and how influential he was and still is. This is pointing in the direction of what Billy did with The Mahavishnu Orchestra. Listen to his drumming on this... Smokin'
good stuff - Colin Bailey introduced me to THE BOMB when i saw him live. Rock drummers tend to overdo it with too much power. When you have a jazz drummer deftly drop one on out of the blue, you realize the importance of not over-seasoning with too much spice. They lure you in with subtle play only to kick you in the chest with that bomb. Nothin like it.
almost 2 years and no comments??...WTH is wrong with people?...(or me). This is so badass! This is one of the most rockingness songs I've ever heard! Thank you Nori Yama! You ROCK!
I came here too
But maybe because it’s misspelled?
@@DominiqueVanheusden lol, yes! Could very well be my friend, lol
