Topic | To Find Slope
Slope measures a line's steepness. It's calculated as the change in y divided by the change in x. Use the formula: slope (m) = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1). Identify two points on the line: (x1, y1) and (x2, y2). Substitute the coordinates into the formula. Calculate the difference in y-values and x-values. Divide the difference in y by the difference in x. The result is the slope of the line. A positive slope indicates an upward slant, while a negative slope shows a downward slant. A slope of zero means the line is horizontal.

Topic | Equation Of Straight line The equation of a straight line can be represented in the form y = mx c, where m is the slope of the line and c is the y-intercept. The slope (m) of a line is the ratio of the change in y-coordinates to the change in x-coordinates between two points on the line. The y-intercept (c) is the point where the line intersects the y-axis, with x = 0. The slope of a ve...

Topic | Slope Formula The slope formula, often denoted as m, is used to calculate the steepness or incline of a line in a coordinate plane. It is represented as (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1), where (x1, y1) and (x2, y2) are two points on the line. The numerator represents the change in the y-coordinates, while the denominator represents the change in the x-coordinates. A positive slope indicates an upw...

Topic | Definite Integrals Definite integrals are a fundamental concept in calculus used to calculate the area under a curve between two specific points on the x-axis. They represent the accumulation of quantities over a given interval and provide a precise numerical value. The definite integral is denoted by ∫[a, b] f(x) dx, where 'a' and 'b' are the limits of integration and f(x) is the integ...

Topic | Integration By Partial Function Method Integration by parts is a method used in calculus to find the integral of a product of two functions. It involves breaking down the integral into two parts and applying a specific formula to simplify the integration process. By choosing one function to differentiate and the other to integrate, the goal is to reduce the complexity of the original in...

Topic | Integration Using Partial Function Method Integration using the Partial Fraction Method is a technique commonly used in calculus to simplify complex rational functions. This method involves breaking down a rational function into simpler fractions, making it easier to integrate. By decomposing the original function into partial fractions, each term can be integrated separately. This proc...

Topic | Integration By Parts Integration by parts is a technique used in calculus to find the integral of a product of two functions. The formula for integration by parts is ∫u dv = uv - ∫v du, where u and v are functions of x. This method is particularly useful when faced with integrals that are difficult to solve using other techniques. To apply integration by parts, one typically chooses u a...
