Attempted Earthy Prince Tribute mild Hot Sauce

Sauce turned more burgundy than purple but is super tasty. I fermented beets, ghost peppers, and blueberries for 3 months and added a new black carrot powder I found online. The beets make it very earthy.

I seen Charlie Wilson say y'all don't want to party and he left for real😂
Awesome video man
@@frojocuddy1727 thanks man I appreciate it
Roger was so well versed in all genre's of music that you couldn't label him which is why he coined his music chittlin rock.
How do you spell that...😂
This concerts is epic! I really hope we get more of Roger's concerts someday!
So.. .. minestrone

If I didn't say it before Thank You For posting This Met Roger and the Band @Kiss FM concert series 8/96 World Trade Center

A rare heartbreaker live❤
There are a few lurking on TH-cam, I've time stamped some. Great song, and cool to hear how they reinterpret it live
Roger was Beast on that guitar

ZAP was an amazingly talented performing and singing group with so much exhilaration❤!
Hip hop shows just don't do it for me, for the most part. I need melody. I need harmony. I need live musicians. Playing instruments. At least they let the guy who was getting violent stay.
I Feel That. Tickets are the same price a whole band used to be. Why am i paying 1 guy and a dj the same price as what 5+ musicians cost. Cypress Hill was the first hip hop group to come out at that show with a whole band and it was so much better.
@@funkinthatrunk3795 Even Snoop Dogg has live musicians and backing singers. Makes a huge difference.
@@funkinthatrunk3795 Your special runs next Saturday, the 20th
@@modernretroradio993 sick thanks man. Was fun to work on.
Why are you so far away?
They had a gate up on the stages and what would be the first 15 rows were vip/pay more standing. Usually you just fight your way slowly up but that wasn't an option. I figured VIP was backstage.
"idc what you do, just dont bore my fans" -Roger Troutman...he lived by this every single time he stepped on stage
He and Freddie Mercury shared a nearly identical outlook when it came to music and performing for the fans. Freddie's quote before his death was, "Do whatever you want with my music, just don't make me boring".
He is my favorite 😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
Wish there was talkbox on this album
Right? It has that non talkbox Heartbreaker cover. Kinda cool still.
@@funkinthatrunk3795 Uploading it in hq now cuz its nowhere

Oh yeah the best

Oh yeah. I learned this on guitar and my mom was like "ooo george benson" and I'm like "no zapp and roger" lol didnt know it was a cover for a little bit. First time I'd heard Breezin.
Where's that concert when at the county faire??
Think it was in a small club
This Stinks and smells really Funky 🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿
I'm friends with a couple who are homesteaders and homemade pickles is their specialty.
Nice. This is my first year canning and so far it's gone well. Pickles peppers, zucchini relish, and regular pickles.

This is long-overdue: An anthem that conveys the struggle and strife of the white man. Just kidding. Funny stuff.
Thanks lol my summer jobs over now so I'm hoping to get more out just gonna be weird recording videos in the winter. Gotta get back in creative mode.
@@funkinthatrunk3795 Are you familiar with the TH-cam channel FUNKNSTUFF? That's the channel for the interview series "Truth In Rhythm." God bless Napoleon Dynamite and San Andreas for getting chumps like me into Roger and the Zapp crew. Roger is a very underappreciated artist who oozed with personality and gave us very banger tunes.

That’s miracle whip. Don’t disrespect mayo like that again
Shoot you're right. I knew it was the gross stuff.
Tons of black artist don’t get their credit for guitar … and before the “making it about race” comments…. Wouldn’t not mentioning roger and underrated black guitarist such as him really be making it about race
That dance floor solo on this is so dope. Someone was sayin he was playin at like years old but think Rog' was a little older. Still young though.
At like 3 years old
I think it might be more about the genre of music than the musician's race. Funk music had tons of really great instrumentalists--virtually all of whom were Black--but very, very few got any recognition. On the other hand, Black musicians in Rock music--like Jimi Hendrix--got plenty of recognition. Obviously, race always does unfortunately play a role, but it seems to me that other than the hardcore fans, most people sadly paid more attention to the danceability of Funk music than the high quality of its musicians. Anyhow, I don't know whether you've heard the Roger and Zapp albums in full, but there are tons of tracks where Roger's guitar playing is on display--whether in solos like on Dancefloor or in instrumental jazz and blues tracks that were always included on each album--so in case you aren't familiar with some of those tracks, look them up here, and I can give you some recommendations if you like.
@@jamstyleproductions8512 but then look at today …. They treat Cory Wong likes he’s the funkiest man alive and he doesn’t even make straight up and down funk it’s more like contemporary idk my mind might just be corrupted cuz funk isn’t even that prominent today and they have him on guitar magazines giving him his flowers upfront
@@mattnixon588 Well, I'm not at all disagreeing with you, just pointing out that it might be a bit more complicated than that. White singers/musicians being elevated to a higher level than much more talented Black singers/musicians isn't anything new, and some might even argue that it goes back to Elvis's time. But there was another string on this video where someone who knew the Troutman family decades ago was pointing out that one reason why Roger & the Zapp band never got as famous as they could have was that they wouldn't sell out to the record labels. I wasn't part of that conversation, but if I recall correctly, it had to do with the fact that the Troutmans stood their ground, didn't take advances from the record companies, and also--as is obvious from the variety of genres on their albums as opposed to just making each album 100% danceable funk--maintained creative control over their output. They kept thing within the family--and the other poster mentioned that their construction business was always their bigger priority than making and releasing music--and while their music "crossed over" on its own, they culturally did not. So they may have self-limited themselves in a lot of cases, which is fine because they did things their way, didn't let success go to their head, and really stood up as Black role models in their local community and beyond. That said, of course, it's common knowledge that MTV in those years was extremely racist in its selection of music and artists to promote, and most markets didn't get BET until well into the 1990s, so I'm sure that that also played a role in limiting their exposure. The bottom line is that anyone who says that Roger Troutman was one of the greatest guitarists of all time isn't all that far from the truth, as those of us who were lucky enough to watch him in person knew very well.
I missed it fuck :/
It was so dope
I saw them in ’87 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. Sharly Murdock was there but she didn't show up because of having a cold.
Dayum that'd suck to go to Japan to do a show and be sick.
@@funkinthatrunk3795 So Zapp's show was longer.
@@hiptrip99I'll take it. I went rock vinyl shopping once and in the middle of all this obscure old rock bam! Shirley Murdock's face. Couldn't mistake it lol it's a great record. Think its everybody wants somethin for nothin.
The fact that these weirdos are protesting Dave would make me want to go to his show so much more!
RIP Roger, the criator of true funk music, me proporse very fun, i love Zapp.
