Point the remote at the TV and input the code: Mute, 7, 2, 9, Exit. No indicator will appear on the screen after putting this code in. To test if the setting has changed, turn on a connected HDMI device. (make sure it's on the TV Soruce) for smart remotes

If you have a North American device (QNxx or UNxx), then the buttons are Mute-1-8-2-PWR.

One day I went to manually turn off my pre SMART tv 42" tv and when I pressed one of the buttons and a black screen with a 240 of something and I couldn't turn my tv off, all I could do was go up or down on the menu changing the numbers. Not knowing what I was messing with the numbers, moved the number down to 0. I couldn't exit the menu and instead unplugged my tv and restarted it and now the picture is crappy with horizontal lines. WHAT DID I DO? Can you help me fix it?

Don´t change other settings without knowledge. You can Destroy My TV EX : Type , Locate Set , Region , ect of do any test
Don't do Any Calibration On TV . This Will Kill your Tone mapping of problem the picture . Only change PWM 2D (game mode) and Movie (all other modes)

Don´t do HDMI Calibration!!! This will kill your tone mapping. Only change PWM 2D (game mode) and Movie (all other modes) to 100! Don´t change other settings without knowledge. You can brick your TV. Make a picture before you change anything.

I did the hdmi calibration, ive tried changing the pwm 2d for movie and changed the ana-peak-2 and other deafault settings to get better "light" in hdr but it doesnt work anymore, i still see hdr as if i didnt change anything. can i do anything to change what i did with the hdmi caloibration? you would really help me. run hdmi calibration in service menu while you play this on console with youtube app: th-cam.com/video/_J_rR5qWN30/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Andr%C3%A9Chaves and the no need to change settings like this. you can brick your tv.
