Sportsman's Lodges are located on Lake of the Woods the largest fresh water lake in the United States after the Great Lakes. This body of water is dotted with islands in the north and has a huge expanse of open water in the south. Sportsman's Lodges has three locations on beautiful Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota. Sportsman's Lodges is a great vacation destination for the outdoor person or vacationer who just likes to sit back, relax and enjoy north woods. Rainy River Update Nelson Park at Birchdale, Mn 3-30-2022

Still locked up this morning. Open water is just east of Birchdale. We received a coating of snow overnight. Forecasted to get a few inches today. Current temp is 29 degrees, high of 37 today. Warmer weather is supposed to be coming this week. Stay tuned for more updates.
