      @@SaltyCinderthere's a few ways to make money depending on where you're at in the story. The most basic way is to just go around robbing people. Another way when you unlock it you can steal wagons and sell them and at another point you can steal people's horses and sell them to a " black market" horse dealer and then there's finding stuff that can be sold through hunting or killing enemies and looting their corpses or just finding valuable stuff in the world but whatever you do don't expect to be instantly raking in thousands of dollars gathering money can take a little bit of time and effort

    Where did this style of running around and spamming Mortal Draw come from? That's not how this game works. She has a big sword with well-telegraphed swings, you're supposed to parry her to death. One important tip, and repeat to me: CHASING SLICE! It's 80% the reason shurikens are useful. Range enemies are danagerous because they may attack you while you run towards them. The way to deal with them is to throw a shuriken and use Chasing Slice to immediately close distance. If an enemy is in the air, throw a shuriken to knock them down and use Chasing Slice to immediately attack them before they can get up. If an enemy jumps away from you, don't run toward them because they may attack while you're doing so; instead throw a shuriken and use Chasing Slice to safely close distance. Chasing Slice is the closest we have in this game to in-combat instant teleport. It's criminal that it only costs 1 emblem. The Nightjar are range enemies that frequently leap in the air. Shuriken + Chasing Slice would've taken them out easily.

    Best fighting controls I’ve ever played. Unfortunately I suck and still haven’t beaten Ginichiro. Still a fun game. Compared to other From games: pause menu works (so you can hotkey less items and regularly use others in the pause menua), unlimited stamina for running and attacking, combat controls (worth mentioning a second time), talking protagonist. It’s pretty unforgiving, and you have to get gud with parrying. I’m not there yet, but I still enjoy the game - once you get the controls down you kinda feel like a shinobi compared to regular enemies.

Most of the boss fights looks absolutely the same coz there's almost no other way to beat them unless you follow the scripts. And every finishing move is just plain animation that you don't even control.

    Sekiro is definitely worth it in 2024. The most important reason imo is that there really hasn't been a better game to replace it. People can argue that unless you're a diehard fan, you can just play Elden Ring instead of going back to Darks Souls 3, or Dark Souls 3 instead of Dark Souls Remastered, etc. But for Sekiro, it is still its own kind of game to this day. Many games have taken inspiration from its posture system, including star wars jedi survivor, Lies of P, etc. But Sekiro is still the only game that entirely plays around this core system. It is more Action and less RPG compared to the SoulsBorne series, which may help you decide whether it fits your interest.

    • @SaltyCinder
      @SaltyCinder หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@eatandrun8020 i enjoyed sekiro more than most FromSoft titles because of the reasons you mentioned. I love the fact that there are no other playstyles or “builds” with which to complete it. It stands as the most authentic challenge that requires one thing from the player, git gud. You can’t flunk your way through Sekiro. There are no luck factors to help you through. If you don’t adapt and learn you won’t beat it. It is truly one of the best and most authentic games to date. I’d even pay more for it if I could😂 [EDIT] Another thing that blew my mind… if you make the wrong choice at a certain part of the game you lose half of the content, only to be experienced in ng+ or subsequent playthroughs. Take a lot of confidence from the developers to present a game with multiple endings in such a way. Also thank you for mentioning those other games. Although my channel is mainly focused on FromSoft games for the moment, I do want to try other games and trying those out might just be something to consider.

Or is it maybe the newcomers expecting it to be equally challenging to the dlc or complain that the dlc is as difficult as endgame? Is there something there I am not seeing? @bongwaterbojack หลายเดือนก่อน

      okay, I'll go point by point. 1. You're missing the actual complaint. They're are aware that it's more difficult. The complaint they're making is that the game being balanced around the use of mechanics that are intended as a crutch is not enjoyable. They want an experience that's balanced around solo play, that then allows for things like summons to be used if that balance is too much for a player. 2. Objectively speaking, if you need more help, then you are inferior. Not condoning the tone they say it in, but they're technically not wrong. Ultimately up to you though whether or not you choose to be offended by it. 3. Far as I can tell, the complaints are mainly coming from long-time souls players who dislike the design philosophy of Elden Ring bosses. The new crowd are more so the ones who drool at endless spectacle and thing it's what made Souls games great. 4. You addressed what you thought the complaint was, not what it is. To spell it out more clearly for you. The complaint isn't "this game is too hard when I don't use my full toolbox." The complaint is "These fights are balanced around mechanics that are not fun to use, and the way they achieve that balance is not interesting to overcome." Gotta learn to read between the lines, bro.

      @@bongwaterbojack My guy… if you spent less than a minute looking at all the other comments you’ll quickly realise that I get it. Stop jumping on your high horse and calm down I am NOT saying that all the long time fans with valid criticisms are complaining that the dlc is too hard I am NOT saying that the fact that Elden Ring is designed around using summons is a good thing. I am NOT saying that if you don’t use summons you are part of the toxic group of people that I have pointed out. Sure… if you don’t use summons it is very likely that your skill is higher than that of someone who does. Just don’t be a toxic asshole who degrades people for their play style. I am aware that FromSoft could have implemented the summons in a way that it does not negatively affect those who choose to not use the summons. The reality however is that Elden Ring IS designed around using summons and the DLC IS designed around you using the Scadutree blessings. So not using them will make your experience harder than it is intended and they should know that. FromSoft just scaled up how necessary they feel by a ridiculous amount. And again, I KNOW IT IS NOT THE BEST DESIGN CHOICE. Also… the newcomers who only played Elden ring and never touched the other games shouldn’t be surprised when FromSoft strays away from standard AAA game design. Elden ring is still very much a souls game. And that is what they’ve always done and will probably continue to do. Really if you don’t understand what I am getting at then stop interacting with me because damn… MY discussion is not based on the criticism for the DLC, it’s based on the toxicity and idiocy that I came across one to many times. I put out THIS video to clear up the fact that I did NOT say that people with fair and well thought out complaints are being overly dramatic because of the increased difficulty.

    Finally defeated Radahn, took me almost six hours effectively (no summons). I can say with complete confidence that Miquella's hair is the primary problem. The lightshow creates further visual obstruction. It's really bad and I would argue Fromsoft should fix this. The blessings were never an issue. Fromsoft never needed to patch them, the new values are not an improvement. The limited number was also never an issue and after the patch it can't even be argued anymore that it could still be an issue. Anyone who still complains about the blessings needs to take a step back and re-evaluate their approach to Elden Ring. I didn't use summons so I can't say how strong any of the spirit ashes are in the DLC. Maybe they're well balanced. I can however say with confidence that the NPC summons are completely busted. I almost one-shotted Bayle, Messmer and several other bosses because I wanted to see the NPC summon in action. They were so powerful that I had to quit out to make sure none of the bosses would die. Overall I stand by my initial judgement. This DLC is one of the best games ever made. I'm going to play it for many more hours. But there are some valid complaints, and unfortunately one of the biggest complaints is about the final boss.

      @@SaltyCinder Haha yeah I was surprised, too. Igon constantly takes Bayle's aggro so we're rarely the target, and he has tons of HP. The combination of that makes boss fights super easy with NPC summons. The 1v5 against Leda is also easy mode if we summon. If solo is 100% difficulty, then just one NPC summon on our side makes it 1% difficulty. I'm honestly not exaggerating how powerful our NPC allies are. My opinion is that the DLC is normal difficulty with summons and hard without. PS: Emiru showed how much of a beast she is. She beat Radahn solo after 11 hours of fighting. No shield, no summons, no overleveling. She's the goat.

    Before Elden Ring these games didnt have spirit ashes. Plus like you say yourself, the spirit ashes made the base game far too easy so why would anyone suddenly start using them for the DLC? Plus many fans just dont like using them, they dont find them fun and if they used them they wouldnt be having fun. From Software should know this, they should know the people who play their games are players who want to kill bosses themselves. Not sure why you cant understand this and you cant see why people who have been fans of these games for years would be upset about feeling like they needed to use them. You even called these fans the "toxic elite" in these comments, which is just nonesense and shows you are completely misunderstanding what their issue is.

      If you really read what I said, my problem is not with people who don’t like using summons. My problem is with people who look down on others who do in fact use them and these are the people that i have called the toxic elite. I have no problem with someone who does not want to use them. But if you exclude them it will be more difficult as they are intended to be used. Whether or not it is a good thing that they are in the game is a completely different story. But they are, the best we can do is accept it and move on. FromSoft have seem the complaints. Shouting louder isn’t gonna change that. I really get why people prefer not to use ashen summons. Just don’t degrade someone else and be an asshole then I have absolutely no problem with your preference. [EDIT] I have also pointed out people who impose a challenge on themselves and then complain it’s challenging. I did not go into all the different ways I have seen people do this but not using spirit summons, struggling because you aren’t using them and then calling others trash because they are? That is what I call toxic. If you want to complain about the spirit summons then go ahead. Just leave the rest alone I said that I hope FromSoft makes a game that is fair to all playstyles.
