    Great review thank you! .. I found few stomp v2 Ifak reviews I came across yours barely but when I would try to search it your video never came out .. maybe there is a way to # the Ifak or other items in your belt that would be awesome .. but idk man i don’t make TH-cam videos I just watch them lol 🫡🤙🏼

      @@audi_kid thank you! I’ve entertained the thought of breaking down each piece on the belt reviews I post. Look to see that in the future, and rebounding off of what you said regarding the STOMP V2… I struggled finding content on it myself which is where I’ve tried to tailor my channel in getting information out there on these pieces of gear you can’t find content on. Again, thank you greatly for the input, it’s always noted and appreciated!

      So I haven’t fiddled around with this set up enough as of yet… but I do run a Ferro panel over top of the zip cuff retainer, I can do a community post on it if you’d like further explanation. Obviously the Ferro panel zips on but if the Haley Flat Pack will weave on through the channels outside the zip cuff retainer I think you’d be good to go and could make it work..

    Hey brother I have the comtac V and ops core arms with the rac link adapters to mount the peltors I’m trying to search for a boom mic that I can use as well as a PTT with downlead cables can you say what you use please and thank you.

      @ so I have the Peltor Flexi Boom mic, seems to be what the GEN2 RAC Links are designed to be used with.. I’d start there. As far as PTTs go, DISCO32 will have literally everything you need. I can’t recommend those guys enough, as far as form/function/ease of use I’m not sure the competition out there can beat them. They also have great customer service with real world MIL/LE experience, any questions you have be sure to shoot them an email or give them a call.

    Any issues with the flexi mic on the rac links? Axls website says they are incompatable

      @@tigrisphotosynthesis9796 absolutely none, I did have to use some force to attach the mic… but I’ve put some hard use on this set up and it’s held up thus far. Make sure you get the Gen2 RAC Link though they still offer both on their website.

    Armor Source makes their (TW"s) ballistic buckets, Same as Gentex makes Ops Core, used to be Ceradyne before Gentex. Just the way it goes these days all excellent company's with long track records.

    You mentioned that the only issue with the ops core arms was the charge light. Can you speak a little more on that. I have the same setup and was about to purchase this light.

      @@dustinpainter7952 sure thing! The head set does not seamlessly clear the light when stowing on the back of the helmet. I have to nudge the muff up over the light in order to properly stow it.. it still works but it’s enough to get in the way when trying to be efficient in an operational setting.

      @@Milspec_101 I’ve seen a review on that belt by EOD Fish, he puts good content out of there.. I’ve never personally had my hands on it though. I did just pick up the Blue Alpha Gear Battle Belt Lite and have been running that, once I get enough time on it I will have a review on the channel.

    This is a dumb question But when you put the whole rig on. How does it stay on your waist properly and not slide around or slide up or down on your waist. I don’t see any Velcro on the inner part of the war belt to secure it to my waist.

      @@FuzzyBears.. there are no dumb questions, this belt will stay in place from friction. The large surface area of the belt assists with this immensely. This is more of a traditional ‘battle belt’ as the 2 piece systems did not come along until later, I have personally never had this belt shift on me while doing any type of static/dynamic work.

      I just bought their new Charge X, going through some testing with that at the moment.. there’s a weak point in the plastic on the mount that has split already. I briefly go over the light in my new video on my helmet set up.

    Quick question: is there a way to Velcro attach mags on the sides of the rig? I decided to go with the micro, but I want to add on each side of the rig a rifle mag pouch. Thank you for your time!

      @@mrjackdaniels0309 Absolutely, the way in which I’m most familiar with would be to purchase a ‘wing pouch’ multiple different companies make them. They will attach via velcro in between the rig and the nylon backer. The one that comes to mind off of the top of my head regarding magazine’s is the Sidekick by Defense Mechanisms, Ferro Concepts also makes the Wingman that will hold a radio amongst other things.       Those are Safariland, but several companies make the trifold flex cuffs now… they take up a lot less space, if you’re looking I would recommend going that route.

    Just for you big guys out there, I’m a 2xl t shirt size, 58 inch chest and this thing will not fit you if you have those measurements, other than that it’s pretty nice, unfortunately I couldn’t use it.

I love the idea of it and edc medical is a great thing but that tq hasnt been tested by any one other then the people who made it. it not C.O.T.C.C.C recommended. and its only an inch wide a standard C.A.T tq is 1.5 in wide and theres a reason for that. for a tq to be effective it has to provide tamponade over a wide area thats why the swat tq is effective with out a windlass and why you cant make a tq out of paracord and the fact that its only 1 in thick means it will hurt ALOT to have it on/applied. people already try to remove C.A.T tq's do to the pain so i can only imagine how bad people would want that off. So to sum things up given my expert opinion i would not recommend this tq but i would recommend the S.O.F tq it is tested and recommended by cotccc and it folds very flat for easy edc if you want a link here you go tacmedsolutions.com/products/sof-tourniquet?variant=40626596544711

    I have one and really enjoy it. The sides of the pliers have female threaded holes where you can screw in cleaning rods or whatever and the MUT will act as a handle. One side of the pliers can be accessed while the MUT is closed. Very clever and innovative on Leathermans part.

    I have an og patent pending and a newer one that is just a knife and a couple screw drivers, it’s got that back button so ya can flick it open like a switch, small blade but it’s in the shape of a dirk but only sharpened on one side, lol beats knife laws and is legal good defensive knife but they ain’t survival knives they emergency tool knives

    Been carrying mine since January 2012, at work, at home, everywhere. The first thing that broke was the closing clip. Not a problem. Never fixed it. Then the wire cutter blades, that got replaced. Many times. Still works great. It's now a nice shade of "old grey".

I was lucky enough to carry an LMT Defenfer for about 10 years here in the UK, and the MUT was absolutely perfect for basic cleaning, clearing (most!) stoppages and fitting the Otis bits... Now I'm back to being a normal (unarmed) worker, I do miss using it for its intended purposes... Stay safe.
