I've had this account for 17 years?!
This account is mostly just vintage US TV (pre 2007) odds and ends. So far they’ve let me keep Time Express, 13 Queens Blvd, I'm A Big Girl Now, and, of course, our beloved Jennifer Slept Here! More other kinds of stuff later?! Maybe! It would be fun to do reviews.
Possible things I might review sometime before the end of days:
-Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (the show)
-Jonny Quest
-Lost in Space (1965, miss me with that new one)
-Disney sequels
-Saturday Night Live Season 6
-Any of the stuff I already have on here (Jennifer Slept Here, Time Express)
We’ll see. Don’t hold your breath, but it’s possible.
NBC let’s all be THERE!

We aren’t too old for this
So jump jump jump!
Don’t give up on me now!
I guess your back hurts
So I’ll just carry us both!
That distant summer when we met
Grains of sand kicked up
The city belonged to us back then
The sun set at our command
That photograph
That playground
That door
That shimmer
Your eyes
His hands
Crushing the fear
Or crushing the life?
We have a different point of view now but
We aren’t too old for this
So run run run!
What do you mean “but why?”
I guess your spirit aches
So I’ll just carry that too!
Autumn didn’t mean back then
What it means now, I swear
The days, no matter the time of year
Still had that new car smell
That driveway
That window
That table
That love
Your lips
Her hands
Soothing the demon
Or setting it free?
Maybe we can’t get it back but
We aren’t too old for this
So jump jump jump!
There’s a point to everything!
I can see you want to believe
So I’ll just carry us through!
That life
That death
That wind
That chaos
Our souls
Our hands
Still holding on
Or pushing away?
It’ll be okay because
We aren’t too old for this
So fly fly fly!
I know you remember!
You believe it too!
Could you carry me for awhile?
We aren’t too old for this
La La La La La!
Don’t give up on us now!
We aren’t too old for this
La La La La La!
The cellulite on my thighs just makes them stronger!

I agree with you all the new ones is killing
I know I'm so late to finding this on YT, but I just want to say that the video description is gold.

She was an embarrassment to her family. Actions have consequences.
Death? Is the death consequence judgey lady for embarrassing one's family? And embarrassing her family is the worst thing? Like that's more important than the waste of a young life, the wasted potential, the loss of any chance of redemption and a happy life? Did you watch this just so you could feel superior? What a miserable way to be.
That’s when one is not satisfied with what they have.
I am always wondering why people feel bad for her or blame like the Show Notes say its CA - this is odd. It is always the parents. Then the girl did this on her own.
I use different adblockers for youtube. adblocker ultimate & cleanyoutube work fine. the trick is, when they eventually hit you w/the workaround to get past them, uninstall the addons/close browser & open browser/reinstall addons & repeat, until they work again. usually takes 2-3 tries.
32:28 Do people in Minnesota have in-ground swimming pools? I mean, other than Prince? That's where Shauna Grant was really from. She was only in the adult film industry a little over a year, they used her for all they could, and then spit her out. Now we know how it really is: see the convictions of Ron Jeremy.
What I don't get is. She looked for work Why didn't he.
Excellent point! What is he doing out there in California? Hanging out on the beach?
He likely figured that Pauleen was making $200 per day modeling, so he thought he could coast for a time.
Young people do not see the consequences of their actions ! That is why it is important to honor your father and your mother like the bible says and respect them because they know what is best for you!
But... it's also important to be your own person while guided by your parents and it depends on each family and circumstances. But ultimately each child should always be allowed to be a full expression of themselves not what their parents expect them to be.
The bible also says women shouldn't preach so...
I wish they had a final episode in which 'Jennifer' would have told the circumstances in which she 'died' and then would have moved on and said Goodbye to Joey.
I remember seeing this episode and waiting for the next one the following week. 'It' never came. Thank you Lord Cellytron for posting these shows. The show had so much potential but like most sitcoms from this time period; bad timing. It was a trip down memory lane. It really brought back a lot of memories. Thanks a lot!
This is the most important episode. Lord Cellytron, thanks a lot! Big time Thanks. IF you were a teen during the early 80s you knew of so many SitComs that have all but disappeared from memory until U see them again on You Tube. Reminds me of a better time on television. I don't recall any episode in which 'Jennifer' told him how she died.
I had long since forgot about this tv show. What a treat it is to see it all these years later. Thank god for youtube and not just for home forgotten television shows.
Her family left her completely behind. Only her mother was with her when she was in hospital.
Not true her parents told her not to go , also her parents could not stop her because she was adult 18 yrs old ! She did this to herself .. she love the lifestyle and that led her to the drugs!
That's a great point! She had so many little siblings, and where was her dad? I mean I guess maybe the mother didn't want them to see their sister in such a horrible state, but where the heck was her dad???

This film as I may understand it, it's more about victim shaming. Imagine a film in which one abusive film producer is the main character.
Then there's thousands?
based on shauna grant
I s/ this movie 2 times! So awesome of, a , drama, movie 2 !👌!
I'm just wondering: Did anyone actually really love this poor girl? Her parents didn't offer unconditional love and her mom would never tell her daughter that she loved her. Her father forced her to move out of her aunt's home and left her to the dark sewers of the LA porn scene. Most of the men in that business, except Lou Gates, perhaps, just used and abused her and then tossed her away like rubbish. Corey abandoned her as well. And Mel turned on her and then abandoned her when he got sent to prison for five years. I suppose the only other person in Pauleen's orbit who really cared about her and offered her a place to stay was Nora. She was with her friend right up until the end and was a source of support during the entire time Pauline was in California.
what would you have done??
@@maryi4332 For one thing, I would make sure she had a welcoming home to come back to, I would tell her I loved her and when she came home for Christmas, I wouldn't show her that I was ashamed to be seen with her. She made a lot of bad choices, but so did her parents.
Uhhh the parents did everything they could to protect her before she left for cali. The mom even made sure she had a place to stay woth her aunt vicki.at the age of 18 she was grown it wasnt the parents fauly the daughter chose to live the wild life all the drugs and being a porn star bringing that shame to her mother and father and her sisters she came from a good household with morals the parents didnt do anything wrong.
@@peachesragin974 Good points. I didn't think about it that way but you are spot on with your comment. She did have a job at the phone company and when she arrived in Cali, she had no skills or work experience and refused to get a job with minimum wage, etc. But the real girl who is being portrayed as Pauleen Anderson didn't have a supportive family at all and when Colleen Applegate overdosed as a teen, it was swept under the rug and her parents said she was just looking for attention. Since she lived in a small town, people snickered behind her back and made life hell for her. That part wasn't in the movie.
@@lonelyheroine oh ok.yeah they left that part out about the parents how sad yeah parents should of did better.
DAN CASTELLANETA (SCORPIO) (THE SCORPION) AS GENIE. UNDERRATED EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE
😅pono
this show was terrible lol so dated.
The old guy didn't realize she needed to keep up with the coke to be with him😂😂😂She didn't find him attractive, look how she describes him as an "old man" to her mom
I don't think that's true. In her recordings she says how much she loves him. This is based on the life of Colleen Marie Applegate.
Actually, she told her mother that he was 35 years old, when it was obvious he was a lot older. Her mother said, "If he's 35 then I'm 22". She was the one who found him to be older than Pauleen claimed.
Pauleen was heavily addicted to the drug way before Mel took her in. She started snorting it to lose some weight and then kept on with it until she burned holes in her nose. He actually cut her off, but that didn't work out at all.
@@lonelyheroine that was a line from THE MOVIE. Her mother never actually said that! Duh.
@@lonelyheroine movies are dramatized. They're not documentaries!! You do realize that right?? 🤦. Just because something happened in a movie doesn't mean it was true!
Wow, was she naive! From a bible belt family and they never taught her to keep her clothes on? smh
They actually did teach her that. She just didn't listen.
Interesting how the 'bad boy' had her best interests at heart and was shocked when he found out she was doing nudes...
Right?! If she'd just stayed with the bad boy and listened to him, they'd have gotten the partying out of their system within a few years, and probably would have been happily married with three wonderful kids and a beautiful life together. It's really tragic how she went down *such* a dark path, that even the guy her mom warned her about was like "nope I'm out"
@@cellytron If only? She went down the path she wanted and there are many still out their. Can't tell a Heinz pickle nothing.
I remember watching this television movie on CBS back in 1988 it was based on a true of adult film actress Shauna Grant .
Her name was Colleen Marie Applegate. Shauna was just her stage name.
I also remember watching it. I could never remember what it was called or who it was based on. I wondered if I’d ever figure it out!
That was a very touching episode!! 🥺
That living room set would go on to be used several more times in various Witt/Thomas shows - right up until the final episode of Empty Nest.
Very sad how her dreams ended
So sad & tragic! 😢
I had to tell my kids when we were going through some somethings. There are a lot grown ass people who will be more than happy to help you ruin your life. I feel so sorry for her and her family. ❤
