Canning homegrown tomato salsa | OVEN method (plus tips!) | Mini Homestead
Hi everyone,
Join me in my tomato preserving. In this video I make two different batches of chemical free natural tomato salsa.
I use the oven method for canning to spead up the time it takes to pasteurise the large loads.
Homegrown tomatoes in Scotland are premium commodity, I always grow some just for our homemade salsa. They are of course organic and chemical free.

      Completely legal as in far smaller quantities then it would be considered problematic 😅 insects love it. I also collect the seeds for baking breads and pastries 😅🤣😂🤣🤷🏻‍♀️ nothing goes to waste.

      @@HealthGeekMum - I have seen it grow in many locations in the UK. As I recall, the climate in Britain is not suitable for the poppy to produce opium. Don't worry, I will not tell anyone. 😀😀

      hahah thanks. Yes they are very popular here, they selfseed in some fields. Same in Poland, in Poland we make a lot of cakes and pastries with special poppy seed and nuts sweet mixture. Might not be as popular in other places but its very tasty! 😀

    Mate it’s fuckin Scotland if you want constant weather then fucking move Also I don’t want to be all doom and gloom but Britain is a very small drop in the bucket when it comes to climate change it’s country’s like China that need to change and obviously they won’t so we’re actually fucked

    I really needed this, thank you. It is about time I reconnected with my intuition/gut. The practice was so very calming, so very useful, and I heard a quiet, gentle but certain voice that gave me an answer to my question. I will definitely be practising with other questions that arise, and perhaps soon I will be able to face the answers to those hard questions, and to be brave and strong enough and true to myself to act upon the answers I hear.
