This Channel is a VLOG about my adventures and practices in Honey Bee Swarm Catching. I will share the ups and the downs, the successes and the failures in a hobby and "sport" I find so exciting. I am a beekeeper myself and I started beekeeping with free feral bees I caught in a Swarm Trap I built myself. My focus is on catching feral bees.
So, whether you are already a swarm catcher, interested in learning where and how to start , or just curious about this exciting activity, my hope is you will find this Channel informative and entertaining.

Formic Pro Mite Treatment For The Swarm Catch Nuc Yard. Are We To Late? How I Treat Smaller Colonies
This was our first full year utilizing Nucs exclusively for all our swarm catches.
Last year we had 100% success rate using half doses of Formic Pro and applications of Oxalic Acid Vaporizations late Fall for our 5 over 5 nucs we were utilizing to save space. Because of these great results I have no reason to change anything. Couldn't have been happier with the outcome and how strong those Nucs were going into Spring. These were the 10 frame colonies we gave away early springs so maybe one of these in this video will be yours in the Spring of 2025
